Top 10 Week of April 24: 'The Diplomat' Tops the English TV List and Is Renewed for Season 2
On the TV side, The Diplomat remained atop the English TV List for the second week in a row with 66.46M hours viewed - reaching the Top 10 in 84 countries. Since its premiere, the political drama has gripped audiences, with over 18M views (123.95M hours viewed divided by 6.76 runtime hours). And fans won't have to wait long to find out what happens after the jaw-dropping cliffhanger: answers are coming in Season 2. Season 2 of Colombian drama The Marked Heart also retained its top slot on the Non-English TV list with 46.31M hours viewed. Meanwhile The Night Agent (37.68M hours viewed), Beef (24.48M hours viewed), Season 4 of Love Is Blind (12.08M hours viewed), The Glory (7.68M hours viewed) and Welcome to Eden Seasons 1 (15.66M hours viewed) and 2 (37.54M hours viewed) all showed their extraordinary staying power as they returned to our weekly Top 10 lists.
New TV entrants include Season 2 of the critically acclaimed and Emmy award-winning series Sweet Tooth in the #2 spot on our English TV list with 48.34M hours viewed (Season 1 also re-entered the list), the final seven episodes of Season 2 of Firefly Lane with 43.49M hours viewed, the seventh and final season of Workin' Moms with 18.19M hours viewed, and Season 3 of Indian Matchmaking with 11.41M hours viewed.
On the film side, fans traveled to Vietnam in A Tourist's Guide to Love, which was #1 on the English Films List with 20.92M hours viewed. Returning to the list was The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die (8.34M hours viewed), Murder Mystery 2 (6.15M hours viewed) and Chupa (4.3M hours viewed).
On the Non-English Films List, French action-adventure AKA debuted at #1 with 32.53M hours viewed. Also new to the list is Polish romantic comedy Kiss, Kiss! with 6.57M hours viewed. Returning favorites included Thai thriller Hunger, Turkish thriller Chokehold, Swedish romantic comedy One More Time, Mexican comedy Queens on the Run, Spanish horror Phenomena and Korean action-adventure Kill Boksoon.
