The Broadcast Season Is Complete, and CBS Is America's Most-Watched Network for the 15th Straight Season

CBS Has Eight of the Top 10 Broadcast Series and Is the #1 Broadcast Network in Primetime Among African American Viewers

According to Nielsen Most Current data, CBS has finished the 2022-23 season as "America's Most-Watched Network" in primetime for the 15th consecutive season. As previously announced, this ties broadcast television's longest winning streak on record, also held by CBS from 1955-1970. This is CBS' 20th win in the last 21 years.

The Network is currently averaging 5.96 million viewers, nearly +700,000 ahead of second place NBC (versus 5.27m), third place FOX (4.45m) and ABC (4.14m). All numbers are according to Nielsen Most Current ratings through May 24.

CBS finished the 2022-23 season with eight of the top 10 broadcast series. It is also the #1 broadcast network in primetime among African American viewers with eight of the top 10 most-watched series, the top three dramas (#1 THE EQUALIZER, #2 EAST NEW YORK and #3 FBI) and the top two comedies (#1 THE NEIGHBORHOOD, #2 BOB HEARTS ABISHOLA).

In multiplatform viewing for the current season, CBS has five series averaging 11 million or more viewers (NCIS, GHOSTS, FBI, BLUE BLOODS and YOUNG SHELDON), seven series averaging 10 million or more viewers (plus THE EQUALIZER and FIRE COUNTRY) and 10 series averaging 9 million or more viewers (plus FBI: MOST WANTED, 60 MINUTES, NCIS: HAWAI'I) for L+35 and streaming on Paramount + and CBS TVE (CBS.com and the CBS app).
