ABC NEWS' 'NIGHTLINE' RANKS NO. 1 IN TOTAL VIEWERS VS. CBS' 'AFTER MIDNIGHT' AND NBC'S 'LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS'

'Nightline' Posts Double-Digit Gains Week to Week Across the Board and Climbs to Its Highest Numbers in 4 Weeks

ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (772,000) for the week of Feb. 24, 2025, based on Live+Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research, beating CBS' "After Midnight" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers."

· "Nightline" posted double-digit increases week to week in Total Viewers (+16% - 772,000 vs. 666,000), Adults 25-54 (+23% - 148,000 vs. 120,000) and Adults 18-49 (+22% - 90,000 vs. 74,000), posting its strongest numbers across the board in 4 weeks - since w/o 1/27/25.

· "Nightline" was up the same week last year in Total Viewers (+1% - 772,000 vs. 768,000) and Adults 18-49 (+3% - 90,000 vs. 87,000).

· This week, "Nightline" covered 2025 Oscars(R) buzz; the investigation launched after Gene Hackman and his wife were found dead; ABC News correspondent Will Reeve embarking on the same adventure 30 years after his father, Christopher Reeve, in the ABC News Studios special "Will Reeve: Finding My Father"; the legacy of acclaimed singer Roberta Flack; Robert Pattinson, Toni Collette and more discussing the highly anticipated film "Mickey 17"; Karen Read's case; actress Michelle Trachtenberg's death; the "Grand Dame" of reality TV Karen Huger's sentencing; Kate Hudson talking about her new Netflix comedy "Running Point"; "IMPACT x Nightline: Surviving Slender Man" and more.

NOTE: On Friday (2/28/25), CBS' "After Midnight" was retitled to "After Midnight-Enc" due to being a repeat. For the week, NBC's "Seth Meyers" was retitled to "Seth Meyers-SM." CBS' weekly averages are based on four days (Monday-Thursday).
