Final Round of KPMG Women's PGA Championship is Most Watched Since 2005

STAMFORD, Conn. - June 30, 2026 - From tee to Green Monster, NBC Sports' presentation of the Travelers Championship, Yankees-Red Sox on Sunday Night Baseball, and the KPMG Women's PGA Championship this past Sunday delivered viewership milestones for all three marquee events.

· Broadcasting the PGA TOUR's Travelers Championship for the first time, NBC Sports delivered the event's most watched final round since 2002, averaging 4.2 million viewers across NBC and Peacock (from 4-6:26 p.m. ET; resuming following weather delay from 7:10-8:27 p.m. ET), based on official Nielsen Big Data + Panel and digital data from Adobe Analytics. The audience for the Travelers, a PGA TOUR Signature event, peaked at 5.6 million as tied leaders Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler played the 18th hole (8:15-8:27 p.m. ET).

· NBC Sports' first New York Yankees-Boston Red Sox game since 1995, a 10-inning, 5-4 victory by the Red Sox, averaged 4.0 million viewers from 8:28-10:35 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock (coverage on NBC began in the fourth inning), marking the most-watched Sunday Night Baseball game in 15 years (Yankees-Red Sox, August 7, 2011). That game, featuring Hall of Famers Derek Jeter, David Ortiz, and Mariano Rivera was also a one-run Red Sox win (3-2) in 10 innings.

· NBC Sports' coverage of the KPMG Women's PGA Championship during its regularly-scheduled window (1-4 p.m. ET, which included weather delay) plus live coverage of the final holes during a weather delay in the Travelers Championship (6:26-7:09 p.m. ET) averaged 1.4 million viewers on NBC and Peacock, ranking as the most watched final round of the event since 2005. On Sunday, Haeran Ryu captured her first major championship, winning by two strokes.
