DESCRIPTION:
(from NBC's press release) From acclaimed director Doug Liman ("Mr. & Mrs. Smith," "The Bourne Identity," "Swingers") and Emmy-nominated writers Mark Cullen and Robb Cullen (FX's "Lucky") comes a truly unique series. "Heist" centers on a "crew" of professional thieves who are plotting to simultaneously rob three prominent Beverly Hills jewelry stores during Academy Awards week. An intense game of cat and mouse ensues as LAPD's finest begin tracking our team of expert career criminals. In the premiere episode, master thief Mickey O'Neil (Dougray Scott) and his crew (Steve Harris, Marika Dominczyk, David Walton and Seymour Cassel) plan to rob a bank in order to build capital for their elaborate heist. Meanwhile, Amy Sykes (Michele Hicks), lead detective for LAPD's Robbery/ Homicide division, and her task force (Billy Gardell, Reno Wilson) launch an investigation to find out not only who is behind this robbery, but what larger plans they might have in store. Very quickly, Mickey and Amy's worlds collide. Show Cast: Dougray Scott, Steve Harris, Michele Hicks, Marika Dominczyk, David Walton, Billy Gardell, Reno Wilson, Seymour Cassel
