TIME SLOT: completed airing its current season |
SEASON(S): 4 (43 episodes, 0 of which have yet to air) |
ADDITIONAL NOTES: confirmed as canceled on 8/11/15 |
DESCRIPTION: (from Showtime's press release, October 2014) Season four brings top film and television stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Jon Hamm, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Matthew Perry (the fourth 'Friend' to appear on the series), Allison Janney, Lauren Graham, Craig Ferguson, Calista Flockhart, Dax Shephard, and Marie Claire Creative Director Nina Garcia into Fiona's narcissistic world. Additionally, series co-creator, executive producer and Emmy Award winner Dan Bucatinsky will reprise his role as Fiona's old assistant Jerome, along with returning guest stars Billy Crystal, Lily Tomlin, Rashida Jones, Victor Garber, Julie Claire, Jennifer Elise Cox and Tim Bagley. This year, it seems everyone has achieved the fame and fortune that Fiona has been striving for, except, well... Fiona herself. Her husband Kip (Victor Garber) has been appointed to a prestigious judgeship, her mother Putsy is basking in the success of a bestselling exposé, her old assistant Jerome and secretary Gina (Courtney Cox) are now undeserving trust-fund millionaires. Striving to reverse this trend and get the recognition she so rightly deserves, Fiona rebrands her modality, expands her Web Therapy franchise, and begins "treating" an increasingly crazy set of new clients, many of whom fail to grasp that when the doctor is in, what can you do for her? WEB THERAPY is created by Kudrow, Don Roos & Dan Bucatinsky for Is or Isn't Entertainment. Bucatinsky and Kudrow serve as executive producers. Roos continues to serve as director. |
