Cunning Strategies and Deadly Alliances: Trailer for 'The Devil's Plan: Death Room' Teases the Return of Korea's Ultimate Mental Strategy Competition

The highly anticipated second installment of the Korean mental strategy competition returns on May 6 with The Devil's Plan: Death Room, featuring even more sophisticated strategies and deadlier alliances. Directed by Jeong Jong-yeon, this series gathers players from diverse professional backgrounds for seven intense days of competition to determine the brightest mind.

The main trailer showcases a complex web of alliances, betrayals, and the fierce drive to win that characterizes the competitors' journeys. Among the players, legendary Go master Lee Se-dol stands out, renowned for his strategic skill in high-stakes scenarios. Meanwhile, Seoul National University graduate Jeong Hyun-gyu, known for his exceptional intellect, emerges as a key figure in the unfolding drama.

As alliances form and dynamics shift, the gameplay becomes increasingly unpredictable. Competitors, including Super Junior's Kyuhyun and news presenter Kang Ji-yeong, navigate a landscape rife with loyalty and deception. Actress and KAIST graduate Yoon So-hui faces potential betrayal, while others like Justin H. Min from The Umbrella Academy and Beef, and poker player 7high, are determined to outmaneuver their rivals and claim victory.

With secrets unraveling and tensions rising, players respond with shock and determination, revealing a world where nothing is as it seems. Catch The Devil's Plan: Death Room premiering May 6, exclusively on Netflix, with episodes 1-4 available to stream in the first week, episodes 5-9 in the second week, and episodes 10-12 in the third week.
