NEW YORK, NY, May 16, 2005 Oxygen has rewritten the rulebook on programming for women, with a comedy-driven lineup thats full of personality as the network announces its upcoming programming slate for 2005 featuring more new and returning series, original movies, and Oxygens unique interpretation of reality television.

Oprah Winfrey has signed on to do two more seasons of Oprah After the Show, the unscripted, unrehearsed and unpredictable talk show featuring Oprahs candid conversations with her audience. The show will shift to a weekly series in the upcoming seasons.

In addition, Oxygen has renewed the Emmy-winning daytime talk show The Ellen DeGeneres Show, for the next two years from Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution. The hour-long talk-variety show highlights Ellens celebrated wry, observation humor and features top celebrity guests. New for this fall from the producers of The Ellen DeGeneres Show is The Tyra Banks Show.

New programming includes:

New Series, Campus Ladies - a fish out of water comedy about two women in their early 40s who, after a divorce and a widowing, are inspired to enroll in the local university and actually live in the dorm. What happens when this almost mid-life duo tackles pub crawls, sorority rushes, and everyday life as full-fledged college students? The shows writers and stars are Carrie Aizley and Christen Sussin, who created the concept on stage through their work with the Groundlings. Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines executive produces with Paul Young of Principato-Young. Peter Principato and E. Brian Dobbins also produce. Oxygen has ordered 10 episodes of the series which debuts in Summer 05.

New Special, MoNiques Fat Chance as the outspoken voice of big, beautiful women everywhere, MoNique is proving to the world that you can be sexy, glamorous, successful and full-figured. And now, she is on a quest to find average American women who are ready to follow her lead and show the world that they have what it takes to become beauty queens. Executive produced by Don Weiner, MoNique, and Steve Imes. Premieres Summer 05.

New Original Movie, Nadine in Date Land - a romantic comedy starring Janeane Garafolo, Swoozie Kurtz, Brad Rowe, and Tamala Jones, about an unlucky in love woman who just happens to run a dating service and needs to land her dream man in order to save her business. Nadine in Date land premieres on Saturday, June 25th at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

New talk show, The Tyra Banks Show - the upcoming syndicated daytime talk show from Telepictures Productions will run evenings on Oxygen, beginning this fall. From relationship, family and self-esteem issues to lifestyle, topical news, celebrities and pop culture, Tyra will tackle a broad range of material in this program that entertains and informs by providing insight into the issues facing today's women.

A New All-Day Comedy Block, anchored by the new acquisition of Grace Under Fire. Starting this June, Oxygen runs sitcoms all day including Roseanne, Ellen, Living Single, and A Different World.

Broadcast premieres of theatrical releases Adaptation, Secretary, and Laurel Canyon.

Returning favorites include:

Season two of Nighty Night - the return of the irreverent, dark comedy starring Oxygens answer to Ricky Gervais, creator, writer and star, Julia Davis. A comical Fatal Attraction of sorts, Nighty Night centers on the co-owner of a suburban beauty salon, who has other things on her mind -- namely the handsome doctor who lives across the street with his wheelchair-bound wife. The second series will see more of Jills unhealthy obsession with finding a new man and it promises to have even more bizarre twists and turns than season one.

Season three of Snapped - Oxygen has ordered 13 new episodes, of the successful true crime series about women who conspire to cause bodily harm or worse to the men in their lives. Produced by Jupiter Entertainment.

Seasons four and five of Oprah After the Show. Oprah is extending her run on Oxygen for another two years, starting this fall. The show will relaunch as a weekly series.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show will continue run in the evenings on Oxygen for her next two seasons.
