LENNOX LEWIS ON NBC'S 'I WANT TO BE A HILTON'

WORLD-FAMOUS HEAVYWEIGHT BOXING CHAMPION LENNOX LEWIS HELPS HILTON WHIP CONTESTANTS INTO SHAPE ON NBC'S "I WANT TO BE A HILTON" TUESDAY, JULY 19, 9-10P.M. ET

Kathy Hilton Suffers Breakdown Bidding a Tearful Goodbye During Eliminations

NEW YORK -- July 18, 2005 -- NBC's Kathy Hilton introduces the "I Want to be a Hilton" contestants to the world of sports and fitness, beginning with a workout at New York's Sports Club/LA on the Upper East side (Tuesday, July 19, 9-10 p.m. ET).

The contestants meet World-Famous Heavyweight Boxing Champion Lennox Lewis, who gives them a few lessons in sportsmanship for their next task, a series of athletic challenges and Hilton shakes up the teams by appointing Latricia and Jackaay team captains. Emotions run high as the losing team faces a heart rendering elimination ceremony, where one contestant tells Hilton about the death of a loved one, triggering Hilton and others to break down in tears.

At the beginning of the episode, the contestants are greeted in Central Park by Lewis, who explains the finer points needed to master speed croquet, dog grooming and rowing. As the newly formed teams set out to compete in the games, tensions rise between Latricia and Jared, when they do not see eye to eye. Elsewhere, romance between Jules and JW really begins to heat up.

One team wins but in the spirit of good sportsmanship, both teams are invited to the prize, a luxurious five-course meal with Lewis who hands out signed boxing gloves to each contestant. Hilton reluctantly meets with the losing team in the elimination room and declares one contestant "off the list."

"I Want to be a Hilton" is produced by Endemol USA, a leading producer of television programming specializing in reality and non-scripted genres for network and cable television.
