CBS Has Nine of the Top 10 Most Watched Programs

"Frosty Returns" Is the Week's Number One Program Among Children 2-11

"NCIS" Dominates Its Time Period

CBS placed first in viewers for the 13th consecutive week, the first time one network has won the first 13 of the television season since 1988-89 and also placed first in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 in the week ending Dec. 18, week 13 of the 2005-2006 television season.

For the week in viewers, CBS (12.24m) placed ahead of ABC (8.66m), NBC (8.32m) and FOX (6.73m). Season-to-date, CBS (13.37m) leads, followed by ABC (10.80m), NBC (9.34m) and FOX (8.14m).

For the week in households, CBS (7.9/13) enjoyed a +39% advantage over ABC (5.7/09), +41% over NBC (5.6/09) and +84% over FOX (4.3/07). Season-to-date, CBS is first in households (8.6/14), outpacing ABC by +25% (6.9/11), NBC by +39% (6.2/10) and FOX by +65% (5.2/08).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (4.7/12) and adults 18-49 (3.7/10) for the second consecutive week. CBS has won 10 of the last 11 weeks in adults 25-54 and eight of the last 11 in adults 18-49. Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (5.2/12) and adults 18-49 (4.1/11).

� NCIS was first in households (10.9/17), viewers (17.11m), adults 25-54 (5.8/15) and adults 18-49 (4.2/12). NCIS dominated its time period, more than doubling the second place network in households (vs. 5.4/09) and viewers (vs. 7.96m) and posting a +71% advantage in adults 25-54 (vs. 3.4/09) and +35% in adults 18-49 (vs. 3.1/09).

� The finale of THE AMAZING RACE 8 was first in households (7.1/11), viewers (11.51m), adults 25-54 (5.5/13), adults 18-49 (4.7/12) and adults 18-34 (3.5/10). This was the best viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 delivery of THE AMAZING RACE 8.

� CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (9.9/16), viewers (15.23m), adults 25-54 (6.0/14), adults 18-49 (4.7/12) and adults 18-34 (3.5/11). CRIMINAL MINDS posted its second best adults 18-34 delivery, matched its second best household performance and scored its third best adults 18-49 (-0.1 behind two episodes tied for first) and adults 25-54 (-0.1 behind two episodes tied for first).

� CSI: NY was first in households (10.8/18), viewers (16.49m), adults 25-54 (6.9/17), adults 18-49 (5.5/15) and adults 18-34 (4.0/12). CSI: NY scored its second best delivery of the season in households, viewers and adults 25-54, matched its second best adults 18-49 performance -- all behind the CSI: MIAMI crossover.

� CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (R) was first in households (11.5/18), viewers (17.67m), adults 25-54 (7.0/16), adults 18-49 (5.8/14) and adults 18-34 (4.8/13) in the 9PM time period. CSI beat the first hour of "The Apprentice 4" finale by +55% in households (vs. 7.4/11), +52% in viewers (vs. 11.66m), +21% in adults 25-54 (vs. 5.8/13) and +14% in both adults 18-49 (vs. 5.1/13) and adults 18-34 (vs. 4.2/12).

� GHOST WHISPERER won its time period in households (6.9/12), viewers (10.89m), adults 25-54 (4.0/12) and adults 18-49 (3.0/10). GHOST WHISPERER has won its time slot every week this season in households and viewers, placed first in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 every week this season with a first run episode.

� CLOSE TO HOME won its time period in households (7.2/12), viewers (11.34m), adults 25-54 (3.9/11) and second in adults 18-49 (2.8/09, -0.1 or -20,000 adults 18-49 behind NBC).

� NUMB3RS was first for the 12th consecutive airing in households (7.8/14), viewers (11.96m), adults 25-54 (4.5/13) and first for the 11th time in 12 broadcasts in adults 18-49 (3.4/11).

� FROSTY THE SNOWMAN (S) (R) (8:35-9:08 PM) posted a 4.5/08 in households with 8.10m viewers, 3.4/10 in adults 25-54, 3.0/10 in adults 18-49, 2.3/9 in adults 18-34, 4.4/16 in children 2-11 and 3.0/11 in children 6-11. From 8:30-9:00 PM, FROSTY was Number One in viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-49, children 2-11, children 6-11 and second in households and adults 18-34.

� FROSTY RETURNS (S) (R) (9:08-9:38 PM) delivered a 3.8/07 with 6.96m viewers, 2.6/08 in adults 25-54, 2.4/08 in adults 18-49, 2.0/08 in adults 18-34, 5.0/17 in children 2-11 and 3.3/11 in children 6-11. From 9:00-9:30 PM, CBS was first in children 2-11, children 6-11, second in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 and was the top program of the week in children 2-11.

� COLD CASE was first in households (9.8/15), viewers (15.22m), adults 25-54 (5.1/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.7/10). COLD CASE is the night's top rated program in households and adults 25-54, Number One in viewers.

� CBS SUNDAY MOVIE ("The Christmas Blessing") (9:19-11:19PM) posted a 9.1/14 with 13.85m viewers, 4.3/10 in adults 25-54 and 3.2/08 in adults 18-49. CBS was first in households, viewers and adults 25-54, second in adults 18-49.
