HDNet to Premiere Groundbreaking New Comedy Series "The All-For-Nots"
Multi-Platform Release of This Series Following a Fictional Indie Band to Premiere on HDNet Sunday, March 9, at 7:45 p.m. ET
DALLAS -- HDNet invites viewers along on a rowdy road trip through America with "The All-For-Nots" (or 'AFN' as their true fans call them). Produced by Vuguru (www.vuguru.com), Michael Eisner's independent new media studio and Thom Woodley and Kathleen Grace of Dinosaur Diorama, the original comedy series follows a documentary crew filming a fictional indie rock band called "The All-For-Nots," as they travel the U.S. on an ill-fated, poorly planned, under-funded tour.
The band visits 24 cities during the filming of the series. Each episode incorporates music and live performance events and will run between 7-10 minutes in length.
The series will air on multiple platforms including television (on HDNet), via the Internet on such websites as Bebo and YouTube as well as on Verizon Wireless V CAST Video.
"The All-For-Nots" will air as a lead-in to HDNet's popular Sunday Night Concert Series, featuring performances from the network's vast music library including artists like U2, Gwen Stefani, Foo Fighters, Vince Gill and more.
"We're thrilled to be a part of this multi-platform series," said Mark Cuban, president and co-founder of HDNet. "It's a perfect fit for us. Viewers can keep up with the series via phone and the Internet, but every Sunday they will get the ultimate experience by watching it on HDNet in true high definition and 5.1 sound."
"As Vuguru strives to continuously produce the highest quality content with its new series, 'The All-For-Nots,' HDNet delivers the highest level of digital broadcast quality available," said Michael Eisner. "Broadcasting outstanding story-driven content through the best possible technology available provides the audience with the ultimate viewing experience."
"The All-For-Nots" premieres Sunday, March 9, on HDNet at 7:45 p.m. ET before moving to its regular time slot of 7:30 p.m. ET every Sunday. Episodes will also re-air at various times during the week on the network.
