JAMES MARSTERS RETURNS IN THE SEASON FINALE OF BBC AMERICA'S TORCHWOOD

James Marsters (Buffy, Smallville) returns as the charismatic-but-psychopathic Captain John Hart in the explosive season finale of Torchwood, BBC America's top-rated series ever. Torchwood, second season finale premieres Saturday, April 19, 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

The second season kicked off with the Torchwood team battling the rogue Time Agent from Captain Jack's past. But from the moment the two Time Agents came face-to-face, it was apparent they had a history � and it quickly became obvious Captain John Hart didn't have friendly intentions after giving Gwen the kiss of death and throwing Captain Jack off a building. Torchwood managed to send him back through the time rift, but now he's returned to Earth and he wants revenge.

Taking Captain Jack prisoner, Captain Hart sends him back in time for a long overdue reunion. Without their leader, Torchwood are faced with a city flooded with Weevils, on the brink of destruction. But who is Captain John really working for? Can anyone trust him? And how great a price must Torchwood pay to save the city?

Before the season finale, the Torchwood team faces horrific Night Travellers, Gwen (Eve Myles) discovers a darker side of Torchwood and it's revealed how each member was recruited to the team.

BBC America's Supernatural Saturday line-up kicks off with Doctor Who, season three, on Saturdays 7:00p.m. ET/4:00p.m. PT, followed by an encore episode of Torchwood at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT and the U.S. premiere episode at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Episode Eleven- Adrift

When a local teenager disappears Gwen is drawn into an investigation that reveals a darker side of Torchwood. Hundreds of people have disappeared without trace, but why is Jack obstructing attempts to find them? The answer seems to lie in the rift. Literally. And as Gwen follows the trail, she makes a shocking discovery.

Episode eleven premieres Saturday, April 5, 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Episode Twelve- Fragments

A booby trapped building explodes and knocks the team unconscious. As their lives flash before their eyes, it is revealed how each of them were recruited to Torchwood. Captain Jack's initiation into a shocked Victorian Torchwood in 1899, Toshiko's daring mission to trade alien technology for her mother's life, how Ianto wooed Jack with coffee and a flair for alien-catching, and the medical revelation that changed how Owen saw the world.
