HENRY ROLLINS TO GUEST STAR ON FX DRAMA SONS OF ANARCHY

LOS ANGELES, March 16, 2008 Grammy Award-winning musician and actor Henry Rollins will guest star in the FX drama series Sons of Anarchy for its second season, which is scheduled to return to the network in the fall, announced Nick Grad, Executive Vice President of Original Programming, FX Networks. Rollins will play a new antagonist in the show's fictional town of Charming, California who poses a deadly threat to the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club. He is scheduled to appear in six episodes.

"Henry will bring his intensity and muscularity to this complex part," said Grad. "We look forward to seeing him inhabit this role."

Sons of Anarchy stars Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal and Ron Perlman and is executive produced by Kurt Sutter. John Linson and Art Linson are Executive Producers. Sons of Anarchy is a co-production of FX Productions and FOX 21, Twentieth Century Fox Television's alternative production arm. Production of season two starts on April 27 in Los Angeles.

Henry Rollins first came into the public consciousness as lead singer of the seminal Los Angeles band Black Flag. He later founded the Rollins Band, receiving a 1994 Grammy nomination for the song "Liar." That same year he won a Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word or Non-musical Album for Get in the Van. He was host of the Independent Film Channel's The Henry Rollins Show and the radio show "Harmony in my Head" on Indie 103 FM in Los Angeles. He currently hosts his own music-mix radio show on KCRW-FM. Rollins' film appearances include Bad Boys 2 with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence and director David Lynch's Lost Highway.

Sons of Anarchy is an adrenalized drama with darkly comedic undertones that explores a notorious outlaw motorcycle club (MC) and its desire to protect its livelihood while ensuring that their simple, sheltered town of Charming, California remains exactly that: charming. The Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club must confront threats from drug dealers, corporate developers and overzealous law officers. Behind the MC's familial lifestyle and legally thriving automotive shop is a ruthless and illegally thriving arms business.

For its entire first season, Sons of Anarchy averaged 5.9 million total viewers and 3.9 million Adults 18-49 in a weekly multi-telecast cume. On a first-run basis, Sons of Anarchy averaged 2.6 million total viewers and 1.7 million Adults 18-49.

Fox 21 is Twentieth Century Fox Television's alternative production arm devoted to producing high quality programming on a lower cost basis.

FX is the flagship general entertainment basic cable network from Fox. Launched in June of 1994, FX is carried in more than 95 million homes. The diverse schedule includes a growing roster of distinctive original series and films, an established film library with box-office hit movies from 20th Century Fox and other major studios that run in prime time and an impressive lineup of acquired hit series.
