LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Syfy has locked in its spring premieres as a new season of "Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files" and newcomer "Marcel's Quantum Kitchen" will roll out in March alongside the previously announced return of "Destination Truth."
Here's a breakdown of what to expect:
-- "Fact or Faked" returns Wednesday, March 23 at 10:00/9:00c, where it will take over for "Face Off" (which wraps its eight-episode run the week prior). The seventh season of "Ghost Hunters," returning Wednesday, February 23, leads off the night at 9:00/8:00c.
-- "Marcel's Quantum Kitchen," in which "Top Chef" alum Marcel Vigneron uses molecular gastronomy to satisfy his demanding clients, debuts Monday, March 7 at 10:00/9:00c following "Being Human."
-- "Destination Truth Live," a four-hour event, bows Thursday, March 17 at 7:00/6:00c. Leading out of the special at 11:00/10:00c will be the network premiere of "Urban Legends," in which viewers guess which of three dramatized urban legends are real. Both series settle into their regular Thursday, 9:00/8:00c and 10:00/9:00c slots, respectively, the following week.
-- Upcoming Saturday originals include: "Iron Invader" (February 12, starring Kavan Smith & Nicole DeBoer), "Area 51" (February 26, featuring Jason London & Bruce Boxleitner) and "Battle of Los Angeles" (March 12, starring Kel Mitchell & Nia Peeples; not to be confused with the feature "Battle: Los Angeles," opening that same weekend) and "Scream of the Banshee" (March 26, featuring Lauren Holly and Lance Henriksen).
