"JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE" NEW MOBILE APPLICATION NOW AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" and application platform Mediafly have partnered to create a "Jimmy Kimmel Live" mobile application, now available for download on iOS. Launched during the "Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards" special, which premiered the now viral videos featuring Tom Hanks in "Toddlers and Tiaras," Mike Tyson in "The President's Speech" and a Who's Who of female Hollywood elite in "Hottie Body Humpilates," the application delivers the show's signature comedy pieces to an ever expanding mobile audience accessing content anytime and anywhere.

An ideal way to showcase "Jimmy Kimmel Live's" smart brand of humor, the official JKL app provides iPhone and iPad users on the go access to interviews with A-list guests, musical performances, special comedy pieces, photo galleries, cast bios and more. The application also links to the shows website and YouTube page, as well as its social media sites, including Facebook and Twitter, creating a robust and integrated Internet experience.

The launch of this mobile application is the late night talk show's most recent endeavor in expanding its audience by providing its content to online media. The official "Jimmy Kimmel Live" YouTube Channel, which is updated nightly to house thousands of guest interviews, musical performances and special comedy pieces, has gained more than 284 million total video views since its launch in January of 2009.

"We know that social media and online platforms across all screens are part and parcel of the 'JKL' fan experience, and providing the best possible user experience through premier technology partners such as Mediafly is extremely important to us," said "Jimmy Kimmel Live" co-executive producer, Doug DeLuca. "We worked closely with Mediafly to launch this application the night of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards' to help satisfy the demand for online, easy access to the celebrity-filled comedy pieces our post-Oscar special premiered. Mediafly was the perfect company to help build our application because of the quality, flexibility and speed they provide, allowing us to make changes regularly to support our nightly, original content."

Mediafly CEO, Carson Conant, adds: "We are excited to show off the capabilities of Mediafly in the entertainment space with the innovative, marquee 'Jimmy Kimmel Live.' Mediafly is extending the loyal 'JKL' audience engagement to smartphones, tablets and, likely, Internet TVs, so that Jimmy's fans can watch and interact on all the devices in their digital lifestyle. The iOS 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' app is a first step in a process of regular enhancement and world-class features."

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" and Mediafly will make the "JKL" application available on other devices in the near future.

The application is currently available for download at www.JKLapps.com.

Packed with hilarious comedy bits and a house band led by Kimmel's childhood best friend, "Jimmy Kimmel Live" -- recipient of the 2010 Clio Award for innovative media -- features a diverse lineup of guests that includes celebrities, athletes, musicians, comedians and humorous human interest subjects.
