Ring-a-Ding-Ding Baby... He's Back!! Second Season of "Call Me Fitz" Premieres on DirecTV's Audience Network November 3

Critically Acclaimed, Award-Winning Comedy Starring Jason Priestley Will Air Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Television's most lovable scoundrel returns when Call Me Fitz begins its second season on Thursday, November 3 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, exclusively on DirecTV's Audience Network. Jason Priestley (My Name is Earl, Beverly Hills 90210) stars in this dark yet brilliant comedy series as Richard "Fitz" Fitzpatrick, a morally bankrupt, yet charismatic, used-car salesman who is forced to become business partners with his inner "conscience" - a lanky do-gooder named Larry. Priestley has earned rave reviews and multiple award nominations for his performance as Fitz, the handsome, substance-abusing scoundrel who torments his naive co-workers, stoops to shameful lows to beat the competition and makes no apologies for his shameless womanizing.

The start of the second season finds Fitz incapacitated by a series of recurring nightmares in which he is shackled to a wheel of death before a shadowy, knife-throwing figure - who may or may not be the new office manager Dot Foxley. Ever the pragmatist, Larry believes Fitz is simply anxious about not being able to sell cars, a theory quickly discarded after a psychic tells Fitz the nightmare is actually a prophecy. Unless Fitz makes amends to the "person he's wronged", he is marked to die.

The ensemble cast includes Ernie Grunwald as Larry, Fitz's so-called conscience; Peter MacNeill as Ken Fitzpatrick, Fitz' father and patriarch of Fitzpatrick Motors; Tracy Dawson as Meghan Fitzpatrick, Fitz's shrewish younger sister and thorn in his side; Donavon Stinson as Josh Mctaggart, the Fitzpatrick Motors in-house mechanic; and Brooke Nevin as Sonja Lester, Fitzpatrick Motors' receptionist and Fitz's former love interest. Amy Sloan joins the cast as Dot Foxley, the new office manager who has an inexplicable hate for Larry, a penchant for witchcraft and a miniature model of Fitzpatrick Motors (complete with Fitz and Larry voodoo dolls) hidden in her apartment.

Nominated for 16 Gemini Awards for its first season, Call Me Fitz recently took home seven trophies, the most of any comedy or drama series this year. Wins include: Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Supporting Role or Guest Role in a Comedic Series (Ernie Grunwald); Best Performance by an Actress in a Continuing Leading Comedic Role (Tracy Dawson); Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Supporting Role or Guest Role in a Comedic Series (Rachel Blanchard); Best Direction in a Comedy Program or Series; and Best Writing in a Comedy or Variety Program or Series . The series was also nominated for four Golden Nymph Awards at the prestigious Monte Carlo Television Festival, including two nominations for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series (Jason Priestley and Ernie Grunwald) and two nominations for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series (Brooke Nevin and Kathleen Munroe).

The series, which debuted on HBO Canada in Fall 2010 and on DirecTV in April 2011, became an instant success, drawing high ratings and garnering glowing reviews. Call Me Fitz has been sold to fourteen international broadcasters and will be seen in over 60 countries world-wide. The complete first season is currently available on DVD and contains special bonus features including The Genesis of Fitz, blooper reels and a sneak peek of season two. The series was created by Sheri Elwood and then developed by Amaze Film + Television and is produced by Amaze, Big Motion Pictures and Entertainment One, with the participation of The Movie Network and Movie Central. Executive Produced by Sheri Elwood, who is also the series Show Runner.
