ABC Cancels "Charlie's Angels"

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC has canceled its much-ballyhooed revival of "Charlie's Angels."
The news comes on the heels of another modest showing by the drama last night (5.96 million viewers, 1.3 rating among adults 18-49). A year ago, the Alphabet pulled the plug on the short-lived "My Generation" following a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating in said Thursday, 8:00/7:00c time period.
The show is still set to air next week (October 20) while the previously announced specials "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" and "You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown" will fill the hour on October 27.
To date eight episodes have been filmed.
