TLC Shares the Remarkable Story of SUSAN BOYLE: AN UNLIKELY SUPERSTAR

All-new special premieres Sunday, November 6 at 8pm ET/PT She's one of the biggest selling artists of all times, and the only female to have back-to-back number one albums in America and the UK, but despite hundreds of interviews, Susan Boyle remains an intensely private person. TLC's exclusive documentary SUSAN BOYLE: AN UNLIKELY SUPERSTAR will reveal a side of the superstar that has never been seen before. The special premieres Sunday November 6 at 8/7c.

Filmed over seven weeks by Osca Humphreys, the award winning director behind the hit series 'My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding,' the special follows Susan at a pivotal point in her life - preparing to launch her third album with the guidance of her boss and mentor Simon Cowell - to produce an intimate, revealing and honest portrait of one of the most intriguing cultural icons of the 21st Century.

SUSAN BOYLE: AN UNLIKELY SUPERSTAR contains unprecedented access to her personal and professional life, including her own stories of her childhood and a visit to her home; rarely seen practice in her recording studio; her performance on the most-watch television program in the world - China's Got Talent. Having emerged as an unknown and overlooked individual who became aliteral overnight sensation, the film explores how she struggles to adjust to her remarkable success, when she is most comfortable in the modest surrounding of pre-success life.

SUSAN BOYLE: AN UNLIKELY SUPERSTAR is produced by Firecraker Films.
