FRANK DeROSE UPPED TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, PROGRAM SCHEDULING & STRATEGIC PLANNING, USA NETWORK, CLOO AND UNIVERSAL HD

NEW YORK - January 13, 2012 - USA Network Veteran Frank DeRose has been promoted to senior vice president, program scheduling & strategic planning where he oversees the scheduling teams for USA Network, CLOO, and UniversalHD. The announcement was made today by Jane Blaney, executive vice president, programming, acquisitions & scheduling.

"I've worked with Frank for over 20 years and I've always said he has one of the best 'scheduling guts' in the business," Blaney remarked. "He has been an invaluable part of our success and this well-deserved promotion reflects the great work he does for USA, CLOO and UniHD."

DeRose will continue to oversee scheduling and strategic planning for USA, CLOO, and UniversalHD. He is part of the senior team responsible for strategizing the successful launches and air schedules for the networks' hit original series ROYAL PAINS, WHITE COLLAR, COVERT AFFAIRS, FAIRLY LEGAL, SUITS and NECESSARY ROUGHNESS. For CLOO, rebranded last year, he helped launch the network's first original reality series, KILLER INSTINCT.

During his tenure at USA, DeRose has risen through the ranks in a number of departments including marketing where he specialized in supervising on-air promotion campaigns for USA's original films. He had oversight of all on-air, cross-channel, radio, theatrical and airline promotion for the Golden Globe Award-winning MOBY DICK as well as ATTILA, which delivered the largest and third largest audiences ever for miniseries on basic cable at the time.

DeRose held various positions at Lifetime Television, including vice president, program planning, scheduling and acquisitions. While there, he acquired some of the network's first major network window theatricals. He began his career at Viacom International as a Film Expeditor and eventually moved on to Showtime Entertainment, where he was ultimately promoted to manager, production services. He has also spent time as a freelance writer/producer for clients including MCA-TV, WNEW-TV, CBS/Fox Video, Buena Vista Television and IBM/Microsoft.

DeRose earned his B.A. in Communications from Fordham University. He currently resides with his wife and daughter in New Jersey.
