TRAVEL CHANNEL'S DON WILDMAN RETURNS WITH DOUBLE STACKS OF TWO ORIGINAL SERIES PREMIERING TUESDAY, APRIL 17

Urban Explorer Wildman Uncovers "Mysteries at the Museum" at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT And Takes Viewers "Off Limits" at 10:00 p.m., ET/PT

CHEVY CHASE, MD (March 14, 2012) - Travel Channel has double-stacked Tuesday nights this spring, bringing back two of its popular original series beginning on Tuesday, April 17. Urban explorer Don Wildman does double duty as he hosts the third season of the one-hour weekly series, "Mysteries at the Museum," premiering at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT, and the second season of the one-hour weekly series, "Off Limits," premiering at 10:00 p.m., ET/PT. Whether pulling back the curtain on a fascinating unseen view of America or bringing to light the puzzling and intriguing stories behind museum artifacts, Wildman takes viewers on an adventure every Tuesday night with the mission to expose the real truth lying beneath the surface.

In "Mysteries at the Museum," Wildman journeys across the United States, going deep into the vaults of the nation's most revered institutions and unearthing wondrous treasures from the past. Behind each extraordinary artifact are stories to be told and secrets to be revealed - all brimming with scandal, mystery, murder and intrigue. In the premiere episode Wildman visits the following:

· FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C. - investigates who actually wore the shabby brown chauffeur's cap that was left at the scene of the Brink's Heist

· Historic Auto Attractions in Roscoe, Illinois - examines a twisted scrap of metal from the wreckage of movie star James Dean's convertible after his fatal accident in 1955

· The 4th Infantry Division Museum in Fort Carson, Colorado - inspects a dirt-caked polystyrene foam block that played a crucial role in the hunt for Suddam Hussuim

· Madison Valley History Museum in Ennis, Montana - analyzes taxidermied remains of a long dead and vicious wolf-like creature that, according to legend, terrorized a community of settlers, stalked ranches and killed valuable livestock

· Anthracite Heritage Museum in Scranton, Pennsylvania - views a three-dimensional model of the nearby Centralia that was once a thriving mining town and now, mysteriously deserted

· Sippican Historical Society in Marion, Massachusetts - studies a detailed replica of a 19th-century cargo ship known as the Mary Celeste that was found floating in the Atlantic with no one on board

"Mysteries at the Museum" is produced by Optomen Productions, Inc. for Travel Channel. For Optomen, executive producers are Nicola Moody and Dominic Stobart. Series producer is Eve Rodrick. For Travel Channel, executive producer is David E. Gerber.

In "Off Limits," Wildman crisscrosses the United States, taking viewers behind locked doors to uncover the secrets of the country's man-made world. Whether traversing obscure or familiar turf, his journey is full of fun and surprises. The premiere episode finds Wildman:

· Outside of Colorado Springs - witnesses a chunk of rock, the size of an aircraft carrier, get blasted away at the largest gold mine in Colorado

· Alcatraz Island - gets unprecedented access to see how three prisoners plotted and executed the only successful escape in the infamous prison's history

· Kentucky - tries his hand at making a handcrafted bourbon barrel in a high-tech factory

· Fiesta Parade Floats in Pasadena - obtains a sneak peak at one of the largest floats ever built for the annual Rose Bowl Parade; a 150 feet long float outfitted with a big rig engine, a 1000-gallon pool, and a wave machine that propels waves for surfing dogs

"Off Limits" is produced by Authentic Entertainment, An Endemol Company, for Travel Channel. For Authentic, executive producers are Tom Rogan and Lauren Lexton. Co-executive producer is Chris Bray.
