AND IN OTHER NEWS... - "90210" co-star Gillian Zinser won't return as a series regular on the show's upcoming fifth season (TVLine.com); Seth Gabel likewise is being pulled back from full-time status on "Fringe" (TVLine.com); the producers of "Smash" have opted not to pick up the options on co-stars Raza Jaffrey, Jaime Cepero and Brian d'Arcy James while recurring guest star Will Chase is also being written out (EW.com); "True Blood" co-executive producer Mark Hudis is set to succeed Alan Ball as showrunner should the vampire drama return for a sixth season (Deadline.com); "Made in Jersey" showrunner Kevin Falls has inked a new two-year overall deal with producer Sony Pictures Television, his home for the past four years (Deadline.com); Joan Rivers will guest on "Drop Dead Diva" as a shrink who appears in Jane's (Brooke Elliott) subconscious (EW.com); Oscar Nunez has been cast as Jose Baez in Lifetime's "Prosecuting Casey Anthony" (EW.com); and "Game Change" director Jay Roach has inked an two-year overall deal with HBO (THR.com).
