"GRILLING WITH THE STARS" RETURNS TO "LIVE! WITH KELLY"

Celebrities to Compete for $25,000 Toward Their Favorite Charities

NEW YORK, NY - May 31, 2012 - Nationally-syndicated talk show "LIVE! with Kelly" is turning up the heat this summer with the return of "Grilling with the Stars," a weekly cooking competition in which celebrities compete to see who has the best grill recipe.

Beginning on Friday, June 1, 2012, contestants will bring their best summer recipes to the "LIVE" grill. Celebrities including Joey Lawrence ("Melissa & Joey"), Raven-Symoné (Broadway's "Sister Act") and actor Dean Cain (Hallmark Channel Original Movie "Operation Cupcake") will be among the contenders for the grand prize of a $25,000 check to their favorite charity, plus LIVE's marvelous Golden Grill trophy.

After each show, viewers will go online to www.livewithkelly.tv to "Rate the Recipe." "LIVE" is partnering with Plastics Make it Possible(R) on the summer contest, and by participating in "Rate the Recipe," viewers also can enter a sweepstakes: one lucky person each week will walk away with a cash prize and a Plastics Make it Possible "Summer Fun" package. In August, after the last celebrity has shared his or her recipe, it will be up to the viewers to vote again and determine whose recipe reigns supreme.
