"60 Minutes" Garners 34 Emmy Nominations and Leads CBS News to Earn More Nominations Than Any Other Network

The CBS EVENING NEWS Earns Five Nominations, 48 HOURS MYSTERY Receives One and CBS SUNDAY MORNING Garners Three

CBS News Recognized with a Total of 43 Emmy Award Nominations

CBS News has been recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) with an industry-leading 43 News and Documentary Emmy Award nominations for segments broadcast in 2011. 60 MINUTES received 34 of the Network's 43 Emmy nominations and led CBS News to earn more nominations that any other Network. In addition, the CBS EVENING NEWS was honored with five nominations, 48 HOURS MYSTERY was recognized with and CBS SUNDAY MORNING garnered three.

The 33rd Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards will be presented on Monday, Oct. 1, at a ceremony at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, located in the Time Warner Center in New York. Details of the nominated broadcasts are as follows:
