ABC News Nominated for 17 News & Documentary Emmy Awards

ABC NEWS NOMINATED FOR 17 NEWS & DOCUMENTARY EMMY AWARDS

ABC News Recognized for Reporting Across its Broadcasts and Platforms, Including in the "New Approaches to News & Documentary Programming: Current News Coverage" and "Outstanding Interview" Categories

ABC News has been nominated for 17 News and Documentary Emmy Awards in 11 categories. ABC News was recognized with nominations for reporting on "World News with Diane Sawyer," "Good Morning America," "Nightline" and "20/20." In addition ABC News Digital was recognized with a nomination in the "New Approaches to News & Documentary Programming: Current News Coverage" category for its eBook, "Target bin Laden: The Death and Life of Public Enemy #1." Diane Sawyer and her team were also recognized with a nomination for her exclusive interview with Jaycee Dugard, which appeared on all ABC News broadcasts and platforms.

Nominees for the 33rd Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards were announced today by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). Below is a full list of ABC News' Emmy Nominations:
