TV Land Ships "Retired at 35" to Wednesdays at 11:00/10:00c By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)
LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- TV Land is relocating its struggling comedy "Retired at 35" to Wednesdays at 11:00/10:00c, effective immediately.
The series, which had been airing on Tuesdays at 10:00/9:00c, delivered a series low last week of 450,000 viewers and a 0.1 rating among adults 18-49. All three of its telecasts this season have successively posted the network's lowest scripted numbers to date.
"Retired at 35" will now follow "The Soul Man" (10:00/9:00c) and "The Exes" (10:30/9:30c) on Wednesday nights, the traditional home of TV Land's scripted properties since the launch of "Hot in Cleveland" in 2010.
"The Soul Man" opened to 1.924 million viewers on June 20 with 886,000 tuning into its most recent episode; while "The Exes" likewise returned on June 20 to 1.241 million viewers, falling to 741,000 viewers last week.
