LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC has pulled the plug on its proposed military singing competition show "Troupe Stars," network sources have confirmed to the site.
Originally slated to premiere on Saturday, June 15 at 8:00/7:00c, the eight-episode series - acquired from 5 Streams Global Entertainment - was to feature current and former soldiers as they showed off their performance skills.
No reason was given for the decision.
"Troupe Stars" would have joined such previously announced summer entries as "The Bachelorette," "Mistresses" and "Wipeout." ABC's full summer lineup has yet to be announced.
