Eight Episode Run Will Premiere This Fall

NEW YORK, April 11, 2013 - Adam Devine, co-star of the hit COMEDY CENTRAL series "Workaholics," is taking the party to the next level as the channel has ordered eight episodes of a stand-up series, "Adam Devine's House Party," it was announced today by Kent Alterman, President, Content Development and Original Programming, COMEDY CENTRAL. The series will spotlight 24 of Devine's favorite up-and-coming comedians and is slated to premiere on COMEDY CENTRAL this fall. Produced by Avalon Television, "Adam Devine's House Party" is executive produced by Devine, Avalon's Jon Thoday, Richard Allen-Turner, David Martin, Isaac Horne, and fellow "Workaholic" Kyle Newacheck, who will also direct the series.

"It's hard to imagine what could go wrong by giving Adam so much money and turning him loose in a mansion to throw a house party, but we are sure to find out," said Alterman.

"I don't know how I convinced COMEDY CENTRAL to give me another show, a Hollywood mansion and a paycheck for hanging out with my friends," said Devine. "I hope they have a good lawyer and the fire department on speed dial."

Combining stand-up and narrative sketches, " Adam Devine 's House Party" invites viewers inside Devine's Los Angeles mansion where each week three of his favorite up-and-coming comedians hang out at his massive house party and do stand-up in the backyard. Christian McLaughlin and Toni Magon are the Executives in Charge of Production for COMEDY CENTRAL.

Devine is best known for his role as "Adam DeMamp" on COMEDY CENTRAL's hit comedy "Workaholics." His sketch-comedy group, Mail Order Comedy, made up of Devine, Blake Anderson , Anders Holm and Kyle Newacheck , has headlined sold-out shows all over the nation. All four members also star on, write and produce "Workaholics." Devine recently starred in the Universal comedy "Pitch Perfect," which follows the competitive world of collegiate a cappella and also stars Anna Kendrick , Brittany Snow , and Rebel Wilson. Devine performed in the "New Faces" show at the Montreal Comedy Festival, shortly after which he was cast opposite Jon Heder and Diane Keaton in the Warner Bros. movie "Mamma's Boy." He also appeared on COMEDY CENTRAL's "Live at Gotham," TBS' "Frank TV," ABC's "Better Off Ted" and NBC's "Community." Additionally, was a recurring guest star on ABC's "Samantha Who?" and can be seen in the upcoming cult favorite "Arrested Development" on Netflix.

A part of the UK's Avalon Management Group, AVALON TELEVISION U.S. has produced three seasons of " John Oliver 's New York Stand-Up Show." In addition to the series, Avalon Television US is currently producing COMEDY CENTRAL's hit series "Workaholics," now in its third season, the new series "Bunk" currently airing on IFC and the Australian talk show "Rove: LA," which was recently licensed to TV Guide Network here in the US and premiered last year.
