DISNEY CHANNEL UPDATES POPULAR "FISH HOOKS" APP ON iPAD, iPHONE AND iPOD TOUCH

Includes Expansion Pack with Five New Characters, Six New Game Mechanics and 50 New Levels of Game Play

A new version of the Disney/ABC Television Group Digital Media team's hugely popular "Fish Hooks" App for iPad, iPhone and iPod is now available in the App store with crisp, clear high definition graphics and an expansion pack that includes:

- Five new characters to play as: Randy Cunningham, Finberly, Shellsea, Bleak Molly and Jumbo Shrimp.

- Six new game mechanics. Players' skills are tested as they maneuver through "Seaweed Swing" and "Sticky Hands," and challenged as they work to avoid being shocked by "Electric Eels" or electrocuted by "Jelly Fish." But never fear players have two new advantages: "The Octopus" can use his tentacles to help players swing though a level and "Warps" can be used to transport throughout a level.

"Fans can't get enough of the current Fish Hooks game so it's a clear choice for us to expand on the app," said Lauren DeVillier, vice president of digital media, Disney Channels Worldwide. "With the great success of the initial launch of the app, our team looked at what resonated with fans and responded by adding new characters and features to ensure the best possible user experience. It's also a great digital touch point to the series on Disney Channel."

"Fish Hooks," which has already been downloaded more than 3 million times, features Milo the fish and a host of his aquatic friends from Freshwater High. In the game, the ever "crabby" Randy Pincherson lives up to his mischievous ways, challenging Milo to an elaborate obstacle course game that he has created. Players assume the role of Milo and must master the art of making and popping bubbles to successfully navigate the treacherous waters of Randy's diabolical design.

Players float, fall and fling themselves through the mazes to advance, all while maneuvering with great precision. Perfect timing and puzzle solving skills are essential to avoid the increasingly difficult obstacles and master all of the underwater moves needed to win. Additional characters including Bea, Oscar, Clamantha, Albert Glass, and Koi can be unlocked as the game play progresses.

"Fish Hooks" is an inventive animated comedy series, set inside a giant fish tank in Bud's Pet Shop. It presents high school life as seen through the eyes of three BFFs (best fish friends), Bea, Milo and Oscar. Together they experience life's typical challenges and triumphs, including friendship, dating and sports, along with more atypical situations such as giant lobster attacks and, with the use of special land suits, school field trips to the hamster cages. The series was created by children's book illustrator Noah Z. Jones and features a notable voice cast, including: Chelsea Kane ("Baby Daddy," "Dancing with the Stars") as Bea, Kyle Massey ("Dancing with the Stars," "Cory in the House") as Milo and Justin Roiland ("The Sarah Silverman Program") as Oscar. New episodes of "Fish Hooks" air Fridays on Disney Channel.

Disney/ABC Television Group's Digital Media team has launched several new groundbreaking apps that have been a hit with kids and parents. Beginning with "The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Road Rally Appisode" app last year, the new Disney Junior Appisode app was the first that enables kids to interact with full episodes of the shows and characters they love. "WATCH Disney Channel," "WATCH Disney Junior" and "WATCH Disney XD" make full length episodes of popular shows available on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Comcast Xfinity customers can access live feeds of the networks, as well as first looks and sneak peeks. With "Jake's Never Land Pirate School," kids can become completely immersed in Never Land, completing pirate-themed challenges presented in Sailing, Pirate Band, Map and Spyglass and Pixie Dust classes.

The Fish Hooks App is available to new players or as an upgrade for current players for $0.99 from the App Store on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch or at www.itunes.com/appstore/.
