Premiere Date Change: Bravo's "Untying the Knot" Premieres Wednesday, June 4
"Untying the Knot" - Premiering June 4 at 10pm ET/9C
Produced by Engel Entertainment with Steven Engel, Krystal Kennedy and Dean W. Slotar serving as Executive Producers.
When couples go from "I do" to "I don't," Vikki Ziegler is who they call to mediate, advise and divide their assets out of court. Each episode features a different divorcing couple struggling to divvy up their belongings that range from dazzling diamonds to the family pets. Expert appraisers Michael and Mark Millea evaluate the items in question and help Vikki determine a fair division of assets. Why let a judge decide your fate when this "Divorce Diva" can cut through all the drama to determine who will get what?
Vikki Ziegler, Bio
Vikki S. Ziegler, Esq. is a practicing attorney of matrimonial law in ny and nj and is the innovator of a unique and realistic approach to "divorce management." Ziegler's approach seeks to de-stigmatize divorce by allowing its empowering aspects to triumph with her team of experts. Her concrete pre-marital tips help couples avoid the pitfalls that can lead to divorce, and her step-by-step impact-management guide will prevent emotional and financial devastation for those facing the inevitable. Ziegler is a founder of her own law firm, Ziegler and Zemsky LLC., a motivational speaker and a trusted legal expert called upon by television, radio and print outlets for the last 8 years. Ziegler has penned a series of legal articles and her newest book, "The Pre-Marital Planner: A Complete Legal Guide to a Perfect Marriage" is on shelves now. She is also the Founder of www.divorcedating.com, a specialized website catering to divorcees looking for love and a commonality with people who have experienced divorce. She is an Adjunct Professor at Fordham Law School teaching a prenuptial agreement and same sex marriage class. Charitable causes always have been an important aspect of Ziegler's life. In addition to volunteering with numerous organizations including Make a Wish, she lends her services to pro bono work with Partners for Women and Justice - an organization for indigent and battered individuals.
Mark and Michael Millea are brothers, co-founders and owners of Millea Bros. Ltd., a boutique auction and appraisal company with a focus on fine art and antiques from finer New York metropolitan area estates, institutions and private collections. Mark and Michael have shared an interest in the arts since childhood, each completing degrees in art history and studio art. Throughout their fifteen plus years in the industry, the brothers have auctioned thousands of objects, gaining a comprehensive knowledge of the fine art and antiques market. Millea Bros. recently auctioned a portion of heiress Doris Duke's estate with sales totaling in excess of two million dollars. Mark and Michael understand the important role a professional appraisal plays in divorce proceedings. Vikki has called on the brothers for several of her high profile cases, including the multi-million dollar divorce of TV host and former New York Giants football player Michael Strahan.
