Under Long-Standing Successful Partnership, Rancic To Remain Anchor And Managing Editor Of Emmy-Nominated "E! News" Program And Continues Key On-Air Role Across the Network

Los Angeles, CA - May 21, 2014 - E! has extended its multi-faceted overall deal with the network's popular television personality Giuliana Rancic through April 2016, it was announced today by Cyndi McClellan, President, Network Strategy & E! News, E! As part of the extensive agreement, Rancic will continue as anchor and managing editor of the Emmy-nominated "E! News," the network's popular, long-running daily news broadcast. Beyond her role on "E! News," Rancic currently hosts coverage of the biggest and most star-studded red carpets in Hollywood on E!'s "Live From the Red Carpet;" is the host of "Beyond Candid with Giuliana," a one-on-one interview series that brings viewers a revealing look at some of today's biggest names in entertainment; is a co-host on the comedy series "Fashion Police" alongside Joan Rivers, Kelly Osbourne and George Kotsiopoulos; and brings viewers a very personal look at her life with husband Bill Rancic and baby boy Duke in their popular reality show "Giuliana & Bill."

The show has recently taken a creative turn, infusing more interactivity and conversation into the big stories of the day, which allows for more chat, debate and off-the-cuff commentary among co-anchors Rancic and Terrence Jenkins as well as co-hosts Jason Kennedy and Catt Sadler, while still delivering breaking news, topical stories and exclusives. The show is up +11% above the year-ago performance (Apr '13) among P18-49, fueled mainly by double-digit gains from younger viewers (+24% P18-34; +31% W18-34). E! News finished Q1'14 as its most watched quarter in six quarters (since Q3'12). E! News (median age in the 30s) delivers an audience that is younger than all its competitors by an average of 16 years, is the most upscale with a median income of over $57K, and has the largest ethnic skew, representing nearly 30%.

Rancic joined E! in 2002 as an "E! News" correspondent and in 2005 became anchor and managing editor for the show. Beyond her work on the network, she has her own clothing line, G by Giuliana Rancic on HSN. She also launched FabFitFun in 2011, a daily newsletter focused on beauty, health and wellness, and recently created "Fab-U-Wish," a program to grant fashion, beauty and celebrity-themed wishes to women battling breast cancer. In 2010, Rancic co-authored her book "I Do, Now What" with husband Bill Rancic. She's currently working on her yet-to-be-titled memoir which will be released on Mother's Day 2015.
