GALYNTINE (AMC; W: Jason Cahill; D: David Mackenzie) - Catherine Dent ("The Shield") is the first to board the drama pilot, which takes place at a time after a cataclysmic technology-induced disaster has resulted in a new society that has eschewed any form of technology. She'll play one of the survivors, Haven, "who lived through the global disaster with her two kids." (Deadline.com)
WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER (Netflix, New!) - The streaming service is reportedly in discussions with co-writer/director David Wain and co-writer Michael Showalter for a 10-episode prequel to their 2001 cult comedy feature of the same name, about the last day at a fictional Jewish summer camp in 1981, before closing for the summer. No other details were given about the revival. The original cast included Paul Rudd, Bradley Cooper, Amy Poehler, Elizabeth Banks, Ken Marino, Molly Shannon, Christopher Meloni, Janeane Garofalo, David Hyde Pierce, Michael Ian Black, Joe Lo Truglio and Showalter.
