ABC Family Kicks Off Its Annual Summer Crush Programming Event, Starting Friday, July 25

ABC FAMILY KICKS OFF ITS ANNUAL SUMMER CRUSH PROGRAMMING EVENT, STARTING FRIDAY, JULY 25

Event Includes the ABC Family Premiere of "Bridesmaids"

Burbank, CA (July 11, 2014) - Starting on Friday, July 25th, ABC Family launches Summer Crush, the network's sixth-annual summer-programming event filled with all-day movies, including classics such as "Pretty in Pink" and "The Breakfast Club" and new hits like the ABC Family premiere of "Bridesmaids."

The "Summer Crush" weekend includes the following programming:

Friday, July 25

7:00 PM "The Waterboy," starring Adam Sandler A waterboy for a college football team shows a talent for tackling and ends up being recruited.

9:00 PM "17 Again," starring Zac Efron, Matthew Perry and Sterling Knight (Zander on ABC Family's "Melissa & Joey") Mike O'Donnell finds his life in a rut. He meets a mysterious janitor at his old high school who inexplicably turns Mike into his 17-year-old self again, giving him a second chance at the life he's always dreamed of.

Saturday, July 26

7:30 AM "Prom," starring Kylie Bunbury (Lacey on ABC Family's "Twisted") The film follows the tangled love lives of a group of teens as they get ready for their high school prom.

9:30 AM "Pretty in Pink," starring Molly Ringwald, Andrew McCarthy and Jon Cryer A girl from the wrong side of the tracks falls for the school's popular rich guy in the classic John Hughes comedy.

11:30 AM "The Breakfast Club," starring Molly Ringwald, Emilio Estevez, Anthony Michael Hall, Ally Sheedy and Judd Nelson 5 mismatched teens - "The Criminal," "The Athlete," "The Brain," "The Basket Case" and "The Princess" - get stuck in an all-day detention together.

1:30 PM "The Prince and Me," starring Julia Stiles Edvard, the Crown Prince of Demark, shirks his royal duties to attend college in Wisconsin. There he pursues med student Paige while keeping his true identity a secret.

4:00 PM "The Parent Trap," starring Lindsay Lohan Twin girls, separated at birth by their divorced parents, team up to reunite their family.

Things are going great until Cady falls for Regina's ex-boyfriend and discovers who her real friends are.
