20/20 (ABC) - The Alphabet revealed during its upfront presentation its veteran newsmagazine will expand to two hours for an eight-week run beginning in January.
ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT (Netflix) - Kyle Mooney and Frances Conroy are slated to guest star on the long-awaited fifth season of the series. He'll play Murphy-Brown, an unspecified character; while she's set as Lottie Dottie DA, "a district attorney who is prosecuting the case involving the disappearance of Lucille 2 (Liza Minnelli)." CHICAGO FIRE (NBC) - Original cast member Monica Raymund took to Twitter to confirm she will not be returning for the show's seventh season. (@monicaraymund)
DESIGNATED SURVIVOR (ABC) - Producer Entertainment One is reportedly in talks with Netflix for a potential third season of the recently-axed drama. (Deadline.com)
DYNASTY (The CW) - Nicollette Sheridan's Alexis Carrington has been promoted to series regular for the show's sophomore run. (TVLine.com)
IN THE DARK (The CW) - Jon Collier has been hired as showrunner of the upcoming drama. He'll succeed creator Corinne Kingsbury, who is in first position to her other pilot "Fam" at CBS, which likewise was ordered to series. (Deadline.com)
MARVEL'S AGENTS OF SHIELD (ABC) - The Alphabet has indicated the show's 13-episode sixth season will be held until summer 2019. (Deadline.com)
NCIS (CBS) - Departing co-star Pauley Perrette has alleged that she endured "multiple physical assaults" during her time on the series. Adding, a "very rich, very powerful publicity machine" has kept her silent until now. Producer CBS Television Studios since released a statement saying, "Over a year ago, Pauley came to us with a workplace concern. We took the matter seriously and worked with her to find a resolution. We are committed to a safe work environment on all our shows." (Variety.com)
NEIGHBORHOOD, THE (CBS) - Max Greenfield ("New Girl") has joined the cast of the Cedric the Entertainer-led comedy. He'll play Dave Johnson, "the friendliest guy in the Midwest, moves his family to a neighborhood in Los Angeles where not everyone looks like him or appreciates his extreme neighborliness." The actor will take over from Josh Lawson in the original pilot. (Deadline.com)
SHADOWHUNTERS (Freeform) - Tessa Mossey has booked a return trip to the series as Heidi, "a delightfully evil and unpredictable vampire, with a mysterious connection to someone in the Shadowhunters' inner circle." (Deadline.com)
TICK, THE (Amazon) - John Hodgman has scored a recurring role on the show's second season as Hobbes, "the AEGIS scientist." (Deadline.com)
