Grunberg is co-writing the CBS Television Studios-based project alongside Jonathan Shapiro with both serving as executive producers. (Deadline.com)

GATZ (YouTube, New!) - S.C. Sansiveri is developing a new drama at the streaming service "based on the academic theory that F. Scott Fitzgerald was writing about a mixed-race man in Jay Gatsby. LAST STOP BAY BRIDGE (FOX, New!) - Andy Roth has sold a semi-autobiographical, multi-camera comedy to the network about "eight people of different ages and ethnicities who form friendships, and rivalries, as they commute by the subway from their gentrifying neighborhood in Brooklyn to their respective jobs in Manhattan." Mark Harmon, Howard Braunstein and Michael Jaffe are also on board to executive produce for CBS Television Studios. Harmon played Lucas Davenport in the TV movie "John Sandford's Certain Prey" for USA in 2011. (THR.com)
PROGENY, THE (The CW, New!) - Chris Roberts has sold a potential drama to the netlet based on Tosca Lee's bestselling book about "a young amnesiac who discovers she's a descendant of history's greatest murderess, plunging her into a deadly underground war as she fights to stop a secret society that has preyed on her kind for centuries." Marlboro Road Gang Productions' Edward Burns and Aaron Lubin and Radar Pictures' Ted Field, Michael Napoliello and Mike Weber are the executive producers with Roberts and Maria Frisk as co-executive producer and producer, respectively, for CBS Television Studios.
