CHI, THE (Showtime) - The network has confirmed Jason Mitchell, who was let go from the series back in May over allegations of inappropriate behavior, will be written out by having his character killed off. (Deadline.com)
DISCOVERY OF WITCHES, A (Sundance Now) - Tom Hughes has joined the cast of the show's upcoming second season as Kit Marlowe, "an English playwright, poet and translator of the Elizabethan era." (Deadline.com)
ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT (Syndication) - Nancy O'Dell has signed off as co-host of the newsmagazine after nearly a decade. (Deadline.com)
FIGHT LIKE A GIRL (ABC, New!) - Nichole Millard and Kathryn Price have sold a legal drama to the Alphabet "that explores what that phrase means today through the lens of two female trial attorneys who fight with each other as much as they fight for their clients."
