JUSTIFIED: CITY PRIMEVAL (FX) - The limited series has been the target of another violent attack. "Someone on Monday night threw an incendiary device near the set perimeter while production was underway in a Chicago neighborhood," the publication indicated. "The device did not explode and no one on the cast or crew was hurt, according to a local report." (Deadline.com)
STRANGE ADVENTURES (HBO Max) - The streamer has nixed the proposed DC Comics anthology series, which was first announced back in October 2019. Kevin Smith, who was working on an episode with Eric Carrasco, broke said news on his "Hollywood Babble-On" podcast. (Variety.com)
STRONGER (Netflix, New!) - Yvonne Orji is attached to star in a potential drama series at the streamer which is "believed to follow Toni Winslow (Orji), a single mom who feels unseen and unimportant. She becomes obsessed with bodybuilding as she explores the surprisingly tenuous line separating self-empowerment from self-destruction, and will undergo not only a physical transformation but also an emotional one." Sheldon Turner is penning the project and will executive produce alongside Orji, her manager D.C. Wade, and Vendetta Productions' Jennifer Klein for A+E Studios. (Deadline.com)
