BEACON 23/GEORGE & TAMMY/JOE PICKETT/PANHANDLE/SPY AMONG FRIENDS, A (Spectrum) - Charter Communications is reportedly getting out of the original programming business. It's unclear how said decision will affect the aforementioned series, all of which are in various states of production. Each is being produced with the intention of sharing a window with another service: "Beacon 23" (AMC Networks), "George & Tammy" (Paramount Network), "Joe Pickett" (Paramount+), "Panhandle" (The Roku Channel) and "A Spy Among Friends" (BritBox). (Deadline.com)
FATAL ATTRACTION (Paramount+) - The feature-turned-TV series has cast the following in recurring roles: Jessica Harper as Sophie, "Beth's (Amanda Peet) mother a dryly witty New England transplant who loves her daughter and granddaughter and also a cocktail"; John Getz as Warren, "Beth's father, who retired from the financial sector and does not suffer fools lightly"; Toks Olagundoye as Conchita Lewis, "the head of the Victims Services Bureau and a longtime colleague and friend of Dan as well as Alex's (Lizzy Caplan) boss"; David Sullivan as Frank Gallardo, "Dan's #2 in the Major Crimes Bureau"; and Isabella Briggs as Stella, "cheerfully energetic with a warm vibe, she is welcoming and confident and disarming when she wants to be friends." (Deadline.com)
MAN IN FULL, A (Netflix) - Lucy Liu will star opposite Jeff Daniels and Diane Lane in the limited series as Joyce Newman, "the founder of a successful clean beauty company. Joyce struggles with a crisis of conscious that threatens to undo friendships and business ventures." (Variety.com)
POWER BOOK IV: INFLUENCE (Starz) - The Larenz Tate-led spin-off is not moving forward at the pay channel. Originally announced as "Book IV," said moniker has since been succeeded by "Power Book IV: Force," which rolled out back in February. (Variety.com)
SWAGGER (Apple TV+) - The show's second season has cast Orlando Jones and Shannon Brown while Christina Jackson's Tonya and Sean Anthony Baker's Naim Rahaim are set to return as regulars. Jones will play Emory Price, "the athletic director at a nearby prep school"; while Brown is set as CJ Ryder, "an elite high school basketball player." (Deadline.com)
