BABY REINDEER (Netflix) - Jessica Gunning will star opposite Richard Gadd in the upcoming series as Martha, "the female stalker at the center of Gadd's story, which began life as a one-man stage play at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe and explores how the warped relationship impacted him and ultimately forced him to face a dark buried trauma. The play won an Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement at an Affiliate Theatre." Clerkenwell Films is behind the project with Weronika Tofilska directing from scripts by Gadd. Petra Fried, Ed Macdonald and Matt Jarvis also executive produce with Matthew Mulot producing. (Deadline.com)
BOB'S BURGERS/GREAT NORTH, THE (FOX) - Executive producers Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin have signed a new overall deal with the shows' producer, 20th Television Animation. (Deadline.com)
DAILY POP/NIGHTLY POP (E!) - The cable channel is canceling both of its daily news programs, which launched in May 2017 and October 2018, respectively. It's understood said change will pave the way for "a new show that will launch on the linear network, airing nightly in late October." "Daily Pop" will end in mid-September and "Nightly Pop" in early October. (Deadline.com)
GHOSTS (CBS) - Rose Abdoo will drop by the new season as Paula, "a no-nonsense veteran TV producer of a show called Dumb Deaths, which comes to use Woodstone Mansion as a shooting location." (Variety.com)
HIJACK/SLOW HORSES (Apple TV+) - Jamie Laurenson and Hakan Kousetta's 60Forty Films has signed an overall deal with the streamer. The company is behind the upcoming Idris Elba-led thriller as well as Gary Oldman-led drama series. (Variety.com)
MAN IN FULL, A (Netflix) - Bill Camp is the latest addition to the Jeff Daniels-led drama as Harry Zale: "Known in business circles as "The Workout Artiste," a term to describe the "bootcamps" he puts debtors through, Zale stands between any hope Charlie (Daniels) has of saving his business empire." RESIDENT EVIL (Netflix) - The streamer has canceled the its drama series based on the video game franchise after one season. (Deadline.com)
TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON, THE (NBC) - The network is reportedly "considering reducing the number of hours it programs in prime time." Under said scenario, NBC "would stop programming the 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. hour and give those seven hours per week to local TV stations to program." The move could likewise see its current late-night programming block now start at 10:30/9:30c after local news coverage. (WSJ.com)
TOUT VA BIEN (Disney+, New!) - The streamer has commissioned a new French original series which "revolves around a dysfunctional Parisian family confronted to the tragic illness of one their children." Writer Camille de Castelnau and director Eric Rochant are spearheading the project alongside fellow writers Gaëlle Bellan, Benjamin Adam and Christophe Régin and directors Xavier Legrand, Cathy Verney and Audrey Estrougo. Cast in the project are Virginie Efira, Sara Giraudeau, Aliocha Schneider, Bernard Le Coq, Eduardo Noriega, Yannik Landrein, Mehdi Nebbou and Angèle Mièle. Maui Entertainment, Fédération Entertainment and Petit Ermitage Production are producing. (Variety.com)
