LIFE AFTER (Amazon, New!) - The streamer has landed an eight-part docuseries due on October 18 which "follows 12 retired NFL players as they face a new chapter of their lives following their professional football careers." The families have little in common in terms of outlook, values or taste in coffee drinks, but find themselves coming together to search for a better life, despite never agreeing about what that means." Aline Brosh McKenna, Heather Morris and Zack Freedman will also executive produce for Lean Machine and ABC Signature. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED GLEE DOCUSERIES (discovery+, New!) - Ample Entertainment has landed a three-part docuseries at the streamer which "will have access to key cast and crew members, who will share first-hand stories of their time on the comedy drama series that ran for over 100 episodes between 2009 and 2015. It will lift the curtain to reveal the highs and lows of the production and the on-set community and will also feature testimonials of close family and friends with never-heard-before stories." The company's Ari Mark and Phil Lott will presumably executive produce. (Deadline.com)
