CBS News' "America Decides: Campaign '22" election night special begins at 5:00 PM, ET on streaming and broadcast television from 8:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT, again from 11:00-11:35 PM, ET for select CBS affiliates and continues from 12:37 AM, ET until 2:00 AM, ET, live across all time zones.

CBS EVENING NEWS anchor and managing editor Norah O'Donnell will anchor "America Decides: Campaign '22" from the CBS News Election Headquarters at 1515 Broadway in Times Square with CBS MORNINGS co-host Gayle King; chief political analyst, anchor of PRIME TIME WITH JOHN DICKERSON and senior national correspondent John Dickerson and FACE THE NATION moderator and chief foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan. CBS News will stream live election day coverage with political correspondent Caitlin Huey-Burns in Washington, D.C., and correspondent Lilia Luciano in New York anchoring a special edition of RED & BLUE and a countdown to results on "America Decides: Campaign '22" from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM, ET.

In addition, the CBS News Streaming Network's 13 local channels will provide live local election coverage throughout the day and evening.

CBS News and Stations arediving deep into the most influential groups driving the election like never before. Announced today on CBS MORNINGS by Margaret Brennan and Anthony Salvanto, the series "CBS News Campaign '22 Eye on America" will go beyond standard demographics or political labels and tell the stories of these groups as they experience their lives and how that shapes the political process. Using its own extensive polling, interviews and reporting, CBS News has followed four distinct groups of voters leading up to Election Day and will continue examining their influence on the results:

· Pressured Parents: They've felt the stress of the pandemic on their kids in recent years and financial pressure amid rising inflation.

· Restoring Roe: Women opposed to the overturn of Roe v. Wade who especially prioritize the issue in their vote choice.

· Trump True-Believers: See themselves as part of the "MAGA" movement, as well as Republicans, influencing the direction of the party.

· Young and Restless: Under 30 and without kids, this diverse generation of voters could make a big impact - but their turnout is more uncertain.

A centerpiece of the coverage will be the CBS News Democracy Desk, which will examine ongoing threats to American democracy with the journalists and experts at the forefront of the issues, including election law contributor David Becker on efforts in states to make the vote counting process more transparent; chief justice and homeland security correspondent Jeff Pegues on how law enforcement is preparing for and dealing with threats to election workers; congressional correspondent Scott MacFarlane looking at election deniers and the fallout from the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

At the CBS News Election Data Desk, Anthony Salvanto and the Decision Team will deliver exclusive real-time race ratings and updates in all the races, along with the projection of winners. Major Garrett, Salvanto and the team will take viewers right to the Data Desk to share exclusive new and transparent ways to see results as they come in, including CBS News exclusive election models, the outstanding vote and what it means to each candidate, the key differences between early and election day votes, detailed maps of both counties and down to the local neighborhood level.

Complementing the reporting and polling will be the new graphics debuting across CBS News, in addition to augmented-reality technology and enhanced visuals, to help contextualize the issues and give the audience a clear understanding of what's happening in real time.

Leading up to and on election night, "America Decides: Campaign '22" coverage will span the CBS Television Network, CBS News Streaming, CBS Local Streams, CBSNews.com, CBS News Radio, CBS Newspath, Paramount+ and more. The coverage bolsters the formidable political coverage viewers have come to expect across the local and national programming, including FACE THE NATION WITH MARGARET BRENNAN, the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH NORAH O'DONNELL, CBS MORNINGS, CBS NEWS MORNINGS, RED & BLUE, PRIME TIME WITH JOHN DICKERSON and several CBS Stations local programs such as THE POINT WITH MARCIA KRAMER (WCBS and the CBS News New York streaming channel).

Additional coverage plans leading up to and on election night from CBS News and Stations include:

· Using the Network's focus on the four distinct influencer groups, CBS MORNINGS will bring back the "Three Meals" series where CBS News correspondents sit down with local residents in key battleground states for breakfast, lunch and dinner to capture the diverse spectrum of perspectives and gain a comprehensive picture of life in their communities. The series will include CBS MORNINGS co-host Tony Dokoupil in Florida, CBS MORNINGS co-host Nate Burleson in Georgia, senior White House and political correspondent Ed O'Keefe in Arizona, national correspondent Jericka Duncan in Pennsylvania and national correspondent Adriana Diaz in Wisconsin. The "Three Meals" series will run in the weeks leading up to the midterm elections. CBS MORNINGS co-host Gayle King will sit down with a group of women voters from different states around the country to discuss what's on their mind as they prepare to head to the polls on Nov. 8. Tony Dokoupil's robust reporting in Florida will examine how the state handled the COVID-19 pandemic and whether it will affect the upcoming election.

· The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH NORAH O'DONNELL will feature on-the-ground reporting from a team of correspondents with the latest developments in key battleground races that will determine control of Congress, as well as candidate interviews and political analysis. In addition to showcasing the latest CBS News polling, the broadcast will also adapt its signature "Eye on America" series for a special midterm edition highlighting unique influencer groups that could tip the scales as voters head to the polls.

· In the run-up to Election Day, FACE THE NATION WITH MARGARET BRENNAN will continue its look at the issues of importance to voters, as well as a focus on the threats to our democracy, Battleground Tracker polling and interviews with candidates and newsmakers relevant to the race for control of Congress and key governors' races. Conversations with voters who fall into the four election influencer categories will also be part of the coverage.

· CBS SATURDAY MORNING will continue coverage leading up to this year's midterms. Stories will include CBS News correspondent Barry Petersen reporting on how election observers and officials are concerned partisan fighting over election results could have a negative impact on democracy itself; Nancy Chen reporting on how Asian-American voters could turn the tide in key battleground races; Brook Silva Braga taking a look at the impact of third-party candidates and ranked-choice voting; and Caitlin Huey Burns reporting on this year's celebrity candidates and how name recognition could be a strategy for both parties going forward.

· On the Sunday, Oct. 30 broadcast of CBS SUNDAY MORNING, Robert Costa will report from Pennsylvania, where many of the big national issues - the economy, abortion rights and defending democracy - are on the ballot.

· 60 MINUTES will feature Anderson Cooper's interview with Dominion Voting Systems CEO John Poulos after the American company filed a set of multibillion-dollar lawsuits against conservative media outlets, personalities and individuals who claimed Dominion rigged the 2020 presidential election. The newsmagazine will also present a report by Scott Pelley from the swing state of Arizona where 2020 election deniers are leading the Republican ticket for November's midterm election.

· Several CBS Stations are producing weekly programs previewing and analyzing key races and ballot initiatives for their broadcast and streaming channels. Many stations have hosted debates between leading state gubernatorial and U.S. Senate candidates, and stations have also produced longform specials, including an in-depth look at the sports gambling propositions in California that was jointly produced by the CBS Stations in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Sacramento. Also, CBS Stations have created comprehensive voters guides for their local websites.

· The latest CBS REPORTS documentary "A New Conservative Alliance" will premiere Thursday, Nov. 3 (8:00 PM, ET) on CBS News Streaming. The half-hour special examines how a segment of American conservatives has found inspiration in an unlikely place. The CBS REPORTS documentary will explore what the emerging alliance means for the U.S. conservatives' vision for America.

· CBS News Digital's coverage on CBSNews.com will offer a dedicated live blog detailing up-to-the-minute midterm election updates. Coverage of the races will be available to watch on the CBS News app, CBSNews.com and the CBS News YouTube channel.

· CBS News Radio's Election Day coverage will include long-form anchored coverage, short-form special reports, feeds of victory and concession speeches, expanded reporters' packages and sound from analysts, election officials, pollsters, candidates and voters. Coverage will be led by CBS News Radio's Steve Kathan at CBS News Radio's election headquarters in New York, where he will be joined by CBS News Radio White House correspondent Steven Portnoy at CBS News Radio's election desk. CBS News Radio correspondents Steve Futterman, Peter King, Jim Krasula, Wendy Gillette, Stephan Kaufman, Cami McCormick and Allison Keyes will cover results of key races from across the nation. CBS News political director Fin Gómez, pollster Monika McDermott and political analyst Professor Leonard Steinhorn will contribute analysis.
