BILLIONS (Showtime) - Production on the series shut down "for several hours Thursday" due to the WGA strike. (Deadline.com)
CHICAGO FIRE (NBC) - Two private security guards were injured on the set of the series "when youths broke through a barrier and drove a four-wheeler onto the drama's Chicago set." The guards, "retired members of the Chicago Police Department, were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries." (Deadline.com)
FRASIER (REBOOT SERIES) (Paramount+) - Star and executive producer Kelsey Grammer's Grammnet NH Productions has signed a first-look television deal with the show's producer, CBS Studios. (Deadline.com)
HACKS (Max) - Filming on the show's third season "will be on pause for the duration" of the WGA strike. (Deadline.com)
HOUSE OF THE DRAGON (HBO) - Filming on the U.K.-based series is expected to continue despite the WGA strike. (Deadline.com)
LORD OF THE RINGS, THE: THE RINGS OF POWER (Amazon) - Likewise, filming on the U.K.-based series is expected to continue despite the WGA strike. "Non-writing executive producers, directors and crew will oversee and complete to wrap, without the showrunners, J.D. Payne & Patrick McKay," according to said report. (Deadline.com)
MAFIA SPIES (Paramount+, New!) - CreativeChaos, Danny Strong Productions and Jackson Pictures are set to team for a six-part documentary series at the streamer based on Thomas Maier's book of the same name: "Based on never-before-released JFK files, the series tells the shocking connections between the CIA, the mob, and Sinatra's Rat Pack from Vegas to Miami to Havana. It explores America's most remarkable espionage plots ever-with CIA agents, mob hitmen, "kompromat" sex, presidential indiscretion, and James Bond-like killing devices together in a top-secret mystery full of surprise twists and deadly intrigue." Director Tom Donahue, Ilan Arboleda, Danny Strong, Mandy Safavi, Matt Jackson, Allan Loeb and Jordan Bogdonavage are the executive producers while Joanne Lee is a co-executive producer. NIGHT MANAGER, THE (Hulu) - The show's India-based remake is moving forward with a "Part 2" due June 30 on Disney+ Hotstar. No date was given for its U.S. home Hulu. (Deadline.com)
SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (NBC) - Kieran Culkin and Jennifer Coolidge were set to host the final two episodes of the season before the WGA strike on May 13 and May 20. Labrinth and Foo Fighters would have served as musical guests, respectively. As previously announced, Pete Davidson and musical guest Lil Uzi Vert were tapped for the proposed May 6 installment. UNSTABLE (Netflix) - A proposed second season of the series is on hold due to the WGA strike. "There were six scripts finished out of a planned eight-episode run with principal photography planned for later this spring," reads the report. "Employees were told earlier this week that production was being suspended and that they were being laid off at the end of the week." (Deadline.com)
VENERY OF SAMANTHA BIRD, THE (Starz) - The series has "paused filming with two episodes of its eight episode order left to shoot" due to the WGA strike. (Deadline.com)
