CHI, THE (Showtime) - The Chicago-based series has paused production on its upcoming sixth season with only eight of its written episodes completed. (Deadline.com)
KELLY CLARKSON SHOW, THE (Syndication) - Kelly Clarkson took to social media over the weekend to address "a bombshell report in Rolling Stone accusing her daytime show's executives of creating a toxic work environment." (Deadline.com, 5/13)
MANDALORIAN, THE (Disney+) - The WGA strike "will likely push the start of production for Season 4." Said run has been written but not formally greenlit. (Deadline.com)
NURSE JACKIE/WEEDS (Showtime) - The pay channel is reportedly in the early stages of development on revivals of both series with their respective stars Edie Falco and Mary-Louise Parker attached to star and executive produce. Lionsgate Television remains behind both projects with former Showtime chief Robert Greenblatt among the executive producers. Christian Torpe is penning the "Weeds" revival for Untitled Entertainment which "would feature Nancy (Parker) in Copenhagen." Victoria Morrow was behind a previous effort in 2019 entitled "Weeds 4.20" that didn't move forward. Abe Sylvia and Liz Flahive then are said to be spearheading the "Nurse Jackie" sequel. WELCOME TO FLATCH (FOX) - The network has yet to make a decision about the second-year series with its fate likely not coming until after the WGA strike ends. Traditionally options on a series' cast expire on June 30. (Deadline.com)
WHILE YOU WERE BREEDING (Freeform) - The Kristin Newman-created series has shut down post-production amid the WGA strike, pushing its August premiere to sometime in 2024. (Deadline.com, 5/13)
