"72 SECONDS IN RITTENHOUSE SQUARE" TO PREMIERE ON PARAMOUNT+ ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 26

September 18, 2023 - Paramount+ today announced that its three-part docuseries 72 SECONDS IN RITTENHOUSE SQUARE will premiere exclusively on Paramount+ beginning Tuesday, September 26. Searching for the truth, the true-crime series unravels the complex and nuanced story of two strangers, Sean Schellenger and Michael White, whose lives intersected in Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square on July 12, 2018. Nothing ever has been the same.

Directed by Tigre Hill, 72 SECONDS IN RITTENHOUSE SQUARE explores both sides, focusing a lens on these two men: an aspiring rapper and a successful real-estate developer. What really happened that night? Chilling, never-before-seen cellphone video of the fatal clash reveals a stunning twist that blew this case and story wide open. The docuseries navigates dueling perspectives and encourages audiences to question, doubt, and challenge everything they may have believed about this case before.

72 SECONDS IN RITTENHOUSE SQUARE is produced by Ark Media for See It Now Studios. For Ark Media, Tigre Hill produces and directs, Barak Goodman is senior producer and Lamont Fountain is producer. Executive Producers are Dorin Razam and Zachary Herrmann. For See It Now Studios, Susan Zirinsky and Terence Wrong executive produce, and Aysu Saliba and Cara Tortora are supervising producers.
