"SURVIVOR 50" ANNOUNCES ONE FINAL VOTE IN THE HANDS OF THE FANS
Viewers Can Vote for the Landmark 50th Season's Fan Favorite
to be Announced During the Live Finale May 20th
During tonight's penultimate episode of SURVIVOR 50, host and executive producer Jeff Probst announced one final vote still remains "in the hands of the fans": Fan Favorite.
Since 2016, global pop star and SURVIVOR super fan Sia has personally awarded over $1 million to the players who have moved her most. In the spirit of season 50, which has featured key elements of the game voted on by the fans, Sia is turning that honor over to viewers, empowering them to choose who will receive the $100,000 Sia Fan Favorite prize during the live finale Wednesday, May 20 (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
Voting opened at the conclusion of tonight's episode and will close Wednesday, May 20, at 12:00 PM, PT/3:00 PM, ET. Fans can cast their vote at Survivor50CBS.votenow.tv.
SURVIVOR 50, which premiered Feb. 25, has been a celebration of legacy, strategy and audience impact where the viewers have played a pivotal role in the evolution of this groundbreaking game. For the first time ever, the game was In the Hands of the Fans. Twenty-four legendary castaways, selected from 49 unforgettable seasons, returned to face surprise twists, high-stakes challenges and fan-driven decisions that shaped the game. Among the key elements fans voted on were "Idols or No Idols" and "Final Four Fire Making: Keep It or Lose It."
The castaways have faced a season to remember from the moment they stepped on the beach, with the same goal: to claim the title of Sole Survivor and be awarded the grand prize. SURVIVOR is hosted by five-time Emmy winner Jeff Probst.
