Hallmark Channel Ends Summer on a High Note with Its Highest-Ever-Rated August and Second Highest-Ever-Rated Month

HALLMARK CHANNEL ENDS SUMMER ON A HIGH NOTE WITH ITS HIGHEST-EVER-RATED AUGUST AND SECOND HIGHEST-EVER-RATED MONTH\

Hallmark Channel delivered its highest-ever-rated August and second highestever- rated month in August 2006, among Total Day household delivery. The network ranked among the top 10 ad-supported cable networks for HH ratings in both Prime Time and Total Day, and also ranked in the top 10 for Adults 25-54 and total viewers P2+ ratings in Total Day. The network also delivered an all-time-high Total Day HH rating of 0.8 in August.

This stellar ratings performance is due in large part to Hallmark Channel�s month-long August Mystery Movie festival, featuring the network�s popular Original Mystery Movie franchises, �Mystery Woman,� �Jane Doe� and �McBride.� Year-to-year (Aug �06 vs. Aug �05) Hallmark Channel added 267,000 total viewers in Prime Time and 109,000 total viewers in Total Day. This is the third and fourth largest increases, respectively, of all ad-supported cable networks.
