CBS Has Seven Of The Top 10 Program Of The Week in Viewers

The Premiere of "Kid Nation" Is First in Adults 18-49, Children 2-11 and Children 6-11

The Premiere of "Survivor: China" Wins Its Time Period in Viewers and Key Demos and is the Week's No. 2 Program Among Viewers

The Finale of "Big Brother 8" Delivers the Highest Adult 18-49, Adult 25-54 and Adult 18-34 Ratings of the Season

The Season Premiere of "Cold Case" and "Shark" Place Second to Football on Sunday

CBS won the final week of the 2006-2007 broadcast year in viewers and adults 25-54 with seven of the top 10 programs among viewers including the season premieres of SURVIVOR: CHINA, COLD CASE and SHARK, according to Nielsen ratings for the week ending Sept. 23, week 53 of the broadcast year.

For the week in viewers, CBS (8.92m) topped NBC (7.63m), FOX (7.44m) and ABC (5.72m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (3.2/08) while averaging a 2.4/07 in adults 18-49.

For the week in households, CBS (5.8/10) was +16% ahead of NBC (5.0/08), +23% ahead of FOX (4.7/08) and +53% ahead of ABC (3.8/07).

For the summer of 2007 (May 28, 2007 to September 23, 2007), CBS was first in both households (4.8/09) and viewers (7.06m). In households, CBS had a +23% advantage over NBC (3.9/07), +26% advantage over FOX (3.8/07), +50% advantage over ABC (3.2/06) and +269% advantage over CW (1.3/02). Among viewers, CBS topped FOX (5.93m), NBC (5.89m), ABC (4.83m) and CW (1.96m). For the summer, CBS finished first in adults 25-54 (2.5/07)

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

? The finale of BIG BROTHER 8 was second in households (5.5/09, -0.2 behind NBC), viewers (8.67m), adults 25-54 (3.8/09), adults 18-49 (3.4/09) and adults 18-34 (2.7/08). This was BIG BROTHER 8's best delivery on any night in adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, posts the second best households and viewers delivery (behind 9/13/07's broadcast) and is the best Tuesday delivery in both households and viewers.

-- Compared to last summer's BIG BROTHER 7, this year's edition was up +2% in households (4.9/08 from 4.8/07), +4% in adults 18-49 (2.9/09 from 2.8/09), even in adults 25-54 (3.3/09) and on par in viewers (7.52m from 7.56m).

? KID NATION SPECIAL (S) (8:00-9:06PM) finished first in adults 18-49 (3.1/09), children 2-11 (1.9/08), children 6-11 (2.3/09), second in households (6.0/10), viewers (9.38m), adults 25-54 (3.4/09, -0.1 behind FOX), adults 18-34 (2.5/08) and teen 12-17 (2.3/09).

? SURVIVOR: CHINA SPECIAL (S) was first in households (9.0/15), viewers (15.35m), adults 25-54 (6.1/17), adults 18-49 (5.0/15) and adults 18-34 (3.3/11). SURVIVOR: CHINA SPECIAL was the night's #1 program in viewers, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (R) (9:00-10:01PM) was first in households (9.1/15), viewers (14.07m), adults 25-54 (5.2/13), adults 18-49 (4.0/11) and adults 18-34 (2.7/08).

? COLD CASE (P) was second in households (8.2/12) and viewers (12.75m).

? SHARK (P) was second in households (7.6/13), viewers (11.42m), adults 25-54 (3.9/09) and adults 18-49 (2.6/07).
