HALLMARK CHANNEL IS #1 THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
Family-Friendly Network Ranks in Top Ten for Weekly Prime Time Ratings and #3 in Prime Time for the Day on Saturday Boosted by Original Holiday Movie Premiere
Hallmark Channel is closing its holiday season on a high note becoming the #1 destination for weekend Prime Time programming on ad-supported cable (Thanksgiving-to-date). The family-friendly network ranked #8 in Prime Time for the week ending December 16 and an impressive #3 in Prime Time for the day on Saturday, December 15. The network was boosted by its fourth and final original holiday movie premiere this season, "Love's Unfolding Dream," (12/15/07, 9-11 p.m., ET/PT) which delivered a 2.4 HH rating, nearly 2 million homes and more than 4 million unduplicated viewers.
"Love's Unfolding Dream" ranked as the second highest rated ad-supported cable movie of the day and second in the time period among HH and P2+ rating. The original movie also ranked in the top 10 in key demo ratings and delivery, including #5 in W25-54 (1.3) rating.
This performance caps off spectacular ratings success for Hallmark Channel this holiday season. "Love's Unfolding Dream" was preceded by: "A Grandpa for Christmas" (3.2); "All I Want for Christmas" (3.1); and "The Note" (3.4).
