Bad Girls Club Powers Oxygen to the Top Spot for W18-34 at 10pm

"BAD GIRLS CLUB" POWERS OXYGEN TO THE TOP SPOT FOR W18-34 AT 10PM

Oxygen.com Sees Best Day and Week Ever and Mobile Polling Hits All Time High

New York, NY - March 11, 2009 - Last night's telecast of "Bad Girls Club" on Oxygen became the series' highest rated and most watched telecast among P18-49, W18-49 and total viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. With a median age of 27.1, Oxygen was the number 1 cable network for its key demo W18-34 in the 10PM hour. The episode drew in 942,000 P18-49, 725,000 W18-49, 478,000 W18-34 and 1.2 million total viewers.

Compared to the average of the first 12 episodes of "Bad Girls Club" Season 2, Season 3 is up 46% for P18-49 (754,000 vs. 516,000), 51% for F18-49 (563,000 vs. 374,000), 61% for F18-34 (422,000 vs. 262,000), and 44% for total viewers (1,049,000 vs. 731,000). Page views are up 489% compared to the same time period of season two (50 million versus 8.5 million).

Last night's episode also contributed to the show site's biggest premiere day and week online with page views on www.oxygen.com reaching 1.7 million yesterday. Today's page views are on pace to deliver the network's best day ever online, as fans flock to the website in the aftermath of last night's episode. Page views on the "Bad Girls Club" show site totaled 8.3 million in the week leading up to Tuesday night's episode. Mobile polling during the episode was at an all time high with 15,571 fans texting their votes to the question "Who would you send home? Whitney - She hit Amber M. first, Back to Boston! Or Def Ailea! She kicked Cookie and isn't sorry." Fans overwhelmingly (84%) voted to send Ailea home.

Last night's episode, "Two for the Price of One," followed the girls' trip to Cancun Mexico, picking up on the confrontation between Amber M., Ailea and Whitney, which resulted in two of the girls leaving the show for good for breaking the rules. From Bunim-Murray Productions, the groundbreaking producers of "The Real World," "Bad Girls Club" was shot in Los Angeles.
