USA spins the numbers for the week of August 17-23.

USA NETWORK CONTINUES DOMINATION

NEW YORK, NEW YORK � August 25, 2009 � USA dominated cable this week, delivering the most P25-54 (1.52 million, +32% over #2 TNT), P18-49 (1.28 million, +34% over #2 TNT), P18-34 (524,000, +2% over #2 TBS), total viewers (3.42 million, +26% over #2 Disney Channel), and households (2.55 million,+ 27% over #2 Disney Channel), as well as earning the top household coverage rating in basic cable prime (2.58, +0.53 over #2 Disney Channel).

USA was the only cable network in prime this week to deliver over 3 million total viewers, 2.5 million households, 1.5 million in P25-54 million and 1 million in P18-49. The network registered victories over "Big 4" broadcasters in 18 primetime hours this week (M-Su 8P-11P) thanks to USA original series ROYAL PAINS, MONK, and PSYCH; WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW; and the hot acquired series NCIS and LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT. USA delivered three times as many total viewers (+205%) as The CW this week, and doubled the broadcaster's P25-54 (+154%), P18-49 (+115%) delivery while outperforming them in P18-34 by a wide margin (+68%)

Five of the top ten cable telecasts in P25-54 were on USA: ROYAL PAINS, MONK, PSYCH, and WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW.

� ROYAL PAINS was television's #1 drama this week, broadcast or cable, in P18-34 (977,000). More P18-49 (2.18 million) watched ROYAL PAINS than any other drama in basic cable prime.

� MONK and PSYCH continue to be the top two telecasts in basic cable prime Friday nights, reigning as the #1 and #2 shows, respectively, among P25-54 (Monk 2.08 million / Psych 1.76 million) and P18-49 (Monk 1.61 million / Psych 1.45 million)). MONK was the most watched scripted telecast on television Friday, broadcast or cable, for P25-54, P18-49, total viewers (5.16 million), and households (3.46 million). Among P18-34, these USA Originals outperformed every broadcast show on the night (Psych 604,000) / Monk 553,000).

� WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW featuring guest host Feddie Prinze Jr. was the most watched program in basic cable prime this week, delivering more P18-49 (2.60 million), M25-54 (1.81 million), or total male viewers (3.81 million) than anything else in basic cable while coming in second only to "The Closer" in P25-54 (2.70 million), P18-34 (1.19 million), and total viewers (5.55 million).

� NCIS and LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT were the top acquired series on cable this week, delivering more P25-54 (NCIS 1.50 million / SVU 1.10 million) and households (NCIS 2.83 million /SVU 2.07 million) than any other acquired series in basic cable prime. NCIS was also the top total viewer acquired series of the week (3.67 million). These were the only acquired series to deliver over 1 million in P25-54, 3 million total viewers or 2 million households. NCIS delivered more total viewers than any of TNT's Original series except for "The Closer" this week.
