'CELEBRITY APPRENTICE' GROWS BY 21 PERCENT IN 18-49 FROM ITS FIRST TO ITS FINAL HALF-HOUR TO WIN THE FINAL HOUR OF PRIMETIME IN ALL KEY DEMOGRAPHICS - ADULTS, MEN AND WOMEN 18-34, 18-49 AND 25-54

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - April 27, 2010 - Led by "The Biggest Loser," "The Office," "Celebrity Apprentice" and "Parenthood," NBC averaged a 1.9 rating, 6 share in adults 18-49 and 5.7 million viewers overall for the week of April 19-25, according to in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

NBC's primetime performance this week was paced by "The Biggest Loser: Couples," which delivered its top results in both adults 18-49 and total viewers since early February. "Loser" ranked #10 among all programs this week in adults 18-49 (tied with ABC's "Desperate Housewives"). Also ranking among the top programs of the week in primetime's key demographic of adults 18-49 were "The Office" (#12, tie), "Celebrity Apprentice" (#17) and "Parenthood" (#20, tie).

Primetime averages for the week of April 19-25 in adults 18-49 were Fox (3.2/10), ABC (2.0//6), CBS and NBC (1.9/6) and CW (0.8/2). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were Fox (9.2 million), CBS (8.4 million), ABC (7.4 million), NBC (5.7 million) and CW (1.7 million).

Season to date through 31 weeks, NBC ranks #3 among the major networks in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 and is tied for #2 in adults 18-34.

NBC highlights for the week of April 19-25:

* On Sunday, "The Celebrity Apprentice" scored its top 18-49 and total-viewer results since its season premiere six weeks ago on March 14. Week-to-week, "Celebrity Apprentice" was up 24 percent in adults 18-49 and 16 percent in total viewers.

* "Celebrity Apprentice" grew from its first half-hour to its fourth by 21 percent in adults 18-49 and by 14 percent in total viewers to rank #1 among the major networks in the final hour of primetime Sunday in all key demographics - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54. "Celebrity Apprentice" topped its closest network competitor in adults 18-49, ABC's "Brothers and Sisters," by a 43 percent margin of victory.

* Also on Sunday, "Minute To Win It" grew from half-hour to half-hour by 19 percent in both adults 18-49 and total viewers. The seven regular-slot telecasts of "Minute To Win It" have all grown substantially from half-hour to half-hour, increasing an average 31 percent in adults 18-49 and 23 percent in total viewers.

* On Friday, "Who Do You Think You Are?" won its time period in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key ratings categories. "Who Do You Think You Are?" attracted its biggest overall viewership since March 19, improving on NBC's average in the time slot during the traditional 2008-09 season by 40 percent in total viewers.

* Also on Friday, "Dateline NBC" reported the top results of the night in adults 18-49 and total viewers. "Dateline" ranked #1 or tied for #1 in its two-hour time period in every key ratings measure

* NBC finished #1 on Friday night in adults 18-49 and total viewers, ranking #1 or tied for #1 in 18-49 and total viewers for all six half-hours of primetime

* On Thursday, "The Office" won its time period in adults 18-49 and other key demos, topping CBS's "CSI," ABC's "Private Practice" and Fox's "Fringe." "The Office" was the #2 show of the night Thursday in adults 18-49 and the #1 show of the night in adults, men and women 18-34 and men 18-49.

* Also on Thursday, "30 Rock" ranked #2 in its slot in adults 18-49 and #1 in adults, men and women 18-34. "30 Rock" was the #2 show of the night Thursday in adults 18-34, second only to "The Office."

* On Wednesday, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" ranked #2 in its slot - and #1 excluding Fox's 24-minute "American Idol" overrun into the hour - in adults 18-49, total viewers and all other key ratings categories. "SVU" was up 33 percent in 18-49 rating and 24 percent in total viewers versus NBC's average in the time period during the traditional 2008-09 season.

* On Tuesday, "The Biggest Loser: Couples" delivered its highest 18-49 and total-viewer results since February 9. "Loser" ranked #2 in the time period in adults 18-49 and other key demos, behind only Fox's "American Idol"-boosted lineup.

* "The Biggest Loser" gained 43 percent in adults 18-49 and 41 percent or more than 2.9 million persons in total viewers from its first half-hour to its fourth, despite competition that included Fox's "American Idol" and "Glee" and ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" results show and "Lost."

* Also on Tuesday, "Parenthood" grew week to week by 16 percent in adults 18-49 and 14 percent in total viewers to score its top results in both measures since its premiere seven weeks earlier on March 2. "Parenthood" ranked #1 in the 10 p.m. hour in adults 18-49 and other key demos.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

Additional NBC highlights for the week of April 19-25:

On Monday, April 19 at 9 p.m. ET, "Trauma" averaged a 1.3 rating, 3 share in adults 18-49 and 4.7 million viewers overall in a time period that included all-original competition from ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" and the premiere of "Romantically Challenged," Fox's "24," and CBS's encore comedies. "Trauma" built by 44 percent in adults 18-49 and by 64 percent or more than 1.8 million persons in total viewers on its lead-in from the previous hour - a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 2.9 million viewers overall for an encore telecast of "Chuck" from 8-9 p.m.

Monday from 10-11 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Law & Order" (1.2/3 in adults 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall) grew from its first half-hour to its second by 18 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.3 from a 1.1) and 13 percent in adults 25-54 (1.7 vs. 1.5).

On Tuesday, April 20 from 8-10 p.m. ET, "The Biggest Loser: Couples" (3.4/9 in adults 18-49, 8.6 million viewers overall) weighed in with its highest 18-49 and total-viewer results since February 9. Week to week, "Biggest Loser" gained 3 percent in both adults 18-49 (3.4 vs. 3.3) and in total viewers (8.6 million vs. 8.4 million).

"The Biggest Loser" ranked #2 in the time period in adults 18-49 and in all key adult female demos, behind only Fox's "American Idol"-boosted lineup and head of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" results show and "Lost" and CBS's encore dramas.

From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Loser" grew by 43 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 4.0/10 from a 2.8/8) and by 41 percent or more than 2.9 million persons in total viewers (to 10.0 million from 7.1 million).

Tuesday from 10-11 p.m. ET, "Parenthood" (2.9/8 in 18-49, 7.3 million viewers overall) delivered its highest 18-49 rating and biggest overall viewership since its premiere telecast seven weeks earlier on March 2. Week to week, "Parenthood" was up 16 percent in adults 18-49 (2.9 vs. 2.5) and 14 percent in total viewers (7.1 million vs. 6.3 million). It's worth noting that "Parenthood" has added an average 31 percent to its 18-49 rating and more than 1.7 million total viewers when going from its "live plus same day" to its "live plus seven day" results.

"Parenthood" ranked #1 in the 10-11 p.m. ET time period in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and other key demos. "Parenthood" has ranked #1 in this slot in adults 18-49 versus regular competition for four of the last five weeks.

On Wednesday, April 21 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Mercy" averaged a 1.2/4 in adults 18-49 and 5.1 million viewers overall.

Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" averaged a 1.4/4 in 18-49 and 5.3 million viewers overall. Week to week, the 9 p.m. "SVU" rebroadcast was up 17 percent in 18-49 rating (1.4 vs. 1.2) and 28 percent in total viewers (5.3 million vs. 4.1 million).

Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (2.8/8 in 18-49, 8.8 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in the time period, and #1 excluding Fox's 24-minute "American Idol" overrun into the hour, in adults 18-49, total viewers and all other key ratings categories. Versus its most recent first-run telecast on April 7, "SVU" was up 12 percent in 18-49 (2.8 vs. 2.5). This marks the seventh consecutive time a "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" original has ranked #1 or tied for #1 among regular programs in this time period in adults 18-49.

"SVU" was up 33 percent in 18-49 rating versus NBC's average in this time period for the traditional 2008-09 season (2.8 vs. 2.1). In total viewers, "SVU" was up 24 percent or more than 1.7 million persons versus NBC's average in the slot for the 2008-09 regular season (8.8 million vs. 7.0 million). It's worth noting that "Law & Order: SVU" has added an average 23 percent to its 18-49 rating and more than 1.4 million total viewers when going from its "live plus same day" to its "live plus seven day" results

On Thursday, April 22, from 8-8:30 p.m. ET, "Community" averaged a 1.6/5 in adults 18-49 and 3.7 million viewers. It is worth noting that so far this season, "Community" has added 24 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from its "live plus same day" to its "live plus seven day" results.

Thursday from 8:30-9 p.m., a special telecast of "30 Rock" (1.9/5 in 18-49, 4.0 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 19 percent in adults 18-49.

Thursday from 9-9:31 p.m. ET, "The Office" (3.2/9 in adults 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall) won its time period in adults 18-49, adults, men and women 18-34 and other key demos, topping CBS's "CSI," ABC's "Private Practice" and Fox's "Fringe." "The Office" was the #2 show of the night Thursday in adults 18-49 (second only to "Survivor") and the #1 show of the night in adults, men and women 18-34 and men 18-49. "The Office" is a heavily time-shifted show, adding an average 29 percent to its 18-49 rating so far this season when going from its "live plus same day" to its "live plus seven day" results. In total viewers, "The Office" adds more than 1.9 million viewers to its previously reported "live plus same day" results when "live plus seven day" ratings are released

Thursday from 9:31-10 p.m. ET, "30 Rock" (2.5/7 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in the slot in adults 18-49 and #1 in adults, men and women 18-34 (and tied for #1 in men 18-49). "30 Rock" was the #2 show of the night Thursday in adults 18-34, behind only "The Office." "30 Rock" is a heavily time-shifted program, so far this season adding an average 26 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from its "live plus same day" to its "live plus seven day" results. In total viewers, "30 Rock" adds more than 1.3 million viewers to its previously reported "live plus same day" results when "live plus seven day" ratings are released.

Thursday at 10 p.m. ET, "The Marriage Ref" (1.9/5 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall) ranked #2 among the major networks in the hour in all key demos - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54. It's worth noting that "Marriage Ref" has added an average 18 percent to its 18-49 rating this season when going from its "live plus same day" to its "live plus seven day" results

On Friday, April 23 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Who Do You Think You Are?" (1.3/5 in adults 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall) won the time period in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key ratings categories. "Who Do You Think You Are?" attracted its biggest overall viewership since March 19 and improved on NBC's average in the time slot during the traditional 2008-09 season by 40 percent in total viewers (6.3 million vs. 4.4 million).

Friday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 7.2 million viewers overall) reported the top results of the night in adults 18-49 and total viewers. "Dateline NBC" tied its highest Friday 18-49 rating since March 5 and generated its biggest overall audience for a Friday telecast since March 12. "Dateline" ranked #1 or tied for #1 in the time period in every key ratings measure. "Dateline" improved on NBC's average in this time period during the traditional 2008-09 season by 45 percent in total viewers (7.1 million vs. 5.0 million).

NBC ranked #1 among the major networks Friday night in adults 18-49 and total viewers. NBC ranked #1 or tied for #1 in 18-49 and total viewers for six of the six half-hours of primetime. This marks the sixth time in eight weeks that NBC has finished #1 or tied for #1 on Friday night, excluding sports, in adults 18-49.

On Saturday, April 24, from 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Parenthood" averaged a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 1.8 million viewers overall. At 9 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Law & Order" (0.7/2 in 18-49, 3.6 million viewers overall) increased from its first half-hour to its second by 33 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 0.8 from a 0.6).

Saturday from 10-11 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall) tied for #1 in the hour in adults 18-49. "SVU" built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 71 percent in adults 18-49 and 31 percent in total viewers.

On Sunday, April 25, from 7-8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC"(1.1/4 in adults 18-49, 4.1 million viewers overall) increased by 20 percent in adults 18-49 from its first half-hour to its second (1.2 vs.1.0).

Sunday from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Minute To Win It" (1.8/5 in 18-49, 5.7 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 64 percent in adults 18-49 and 40 percent in total viewers. "Minute" grew from half-hour to half-hour by 19 percent in both adults 18-49 (to a 1.9 from a 1.6) and total viewers (to 6.1 million from 5.2 million). The seven regular-slot telecasts of "Minute To Win It" have all grown substantially from half-hour to half-hour, increasing an average 31 percent in adults 18-49 and 23 percent in total viewers.

Sunday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "The Celebrity Apprentice" (3.1/8 in 18-49, 7.9 million viewers overall) scored its top 18-49 and total-viewer results since its season premiere six weeks ago on March 14. Week-to-week, "Celebrity Apprentice" was up 24 percent in adults 18-49 (3.0 vs. 2.5) and 16 percent in total viewers (7.9 million vs. 6.8 million).

"Celebrity Apprentice" increased from its first half-hour to its fourth by 21 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 3.4/10 from a 2.8/7) and by 14 percent or 1.1 million persons in total viewers (to 8.7 million from 7.6 million).

In the final hour of primetime from 10-11 p.m. ET, "Celebrity Apprentice" ranked #1 among the major networks in all key demographics - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 - and matched or topped the combined ABC-CBS rating in adults 18-34 and all key adult-male demos. In the 10 p.m. hour, "Celebrity Apprentice" delivered a 43 percent winning margin in adults 18-49 (3.3 vs. 2.3 for ABC's second-place "Brothers and Sisters").

"Celebrity Apprentice" was up 41 percent in 18-49 rating versus NBC's non-sports average in the time period this season prior to "Celebrity Apprentice" (3.1 vs. 2.2, "live plus same day"). It's worth noting that "Celebrity Apprentice" has added an average 14 percent to its 18-49 rating this season when going from its "live plus same day" to its "live plus seven day" results
